I Caught This Ford Dealership Trying to Scam My Customer and Im Going to Fight It sleepyhollow783: Come from a Ford family. But that company's customer treatment has kept me from owning another Ford. Ford offers no product support immediately after they discontinue a model & they knowingly sell garbage & later act as if they never made the vehicle in the 1st place. Pinto, Capri, Mark VIII, Focus, Cougar, Contour, Mystique, Probe, the list seems endless.

Hondas don't really have head gasket problems these days. the older ones from the 80s that had graphite gaskets were prone to failure but they have since upgraded to a steel gasket that is much more durable. since that civic was in an accident, my guess is the coolant reservoir and the radiator got compromised on the car. radiators are super prone to cracking on Hondas. that's probably what it is but yeah that guy who sold him the car was a total crook

Those cars are miserable. We used to have them as company cars. Its the only car in which I could touch the steering wheel and the radio knob with the same hand at the same time. So cramped and small. One of ours had a similar issue with the transmission. The dealership tried to say I was driving it wrong. So now I never have to worry about buying a Ford or a Chrysler. Ive had bad experiences with both. Luckily, neither of them were mine.

If you buy a car from ANY stealership used, usually they are sold AS IS. Now they usually give you, depending on the state, so many days you can return it. That's just the way it rolls. Buying used is risky unless it's from a trusted owner of the vehicle but even they can lie. Better be records and someone with a good reason they're selling the car.

I got a 2012 Focus in 2015 drove it for a month and then some technicality the financing didn't get go through so I made them unwind the deal which my friends couldn't believe I did I got all my money back I put 5, 000 down and they did an unwind after I drove it for 30 days I thank God I didn't get that car with a 6-speed dual-clutch

My friend used to have a 2013 fusion, I believe had the same issues. He went back to ford they didnt want to take it back he talked to a lawyer as to why, lawyer informed him about that suit, he went back told that ford dealer about it they offered him 3k he talked to a lawyer again and end up getting 16k back.

I bought a 99 Ford windstar van many years back. I had around 95k miles on it. After having it a few months I took it in because I could feel the transmission slipping. I the mechanic said, yeah this is about the life of these Ford transmissions. Ive NEVER bought another Ford since and never ever will.

The buybacks will be auctioned off to buy here pay here dealers, cars are sold AS-IS a uneducated buyer will buy it trans will go out send it to a shop spend too much money trying to fix it ends up junking it, vicious cycle were the economy/businesses is stimulated but the consumer always loses.

The customer didn't buy the car from Ford. I can see why they don't want to buy back a car that may have already had two or three owners and the customer bought as is. He is lucky that they offered him anything. He should try to get his money back from the guy he purchased it from. lol

I've changed my mind, I was a little disappointed and annoyed that Ford stopped making most of their sedans. Not anymore. Perhaps they no longer know how (or care) to make quality family cars. .. so. .. the SHOULD stop making them. Thanks Scotty, give em heck!
