It makes me wonder if Honda survives recent changes and many failures.
The management makes too many bad decisions.
Sales in Japan are going down, at the same time waiting time for Toyota's counterparts is over six months. Honda also doesn't want to develop technologies with other manufacturers. At least in the home market, they are expensive while offering less. They also not as reliable with their 1. 5T.
In the meantime, Subaru and Toyota are developing a new AWD system and Mazda and T. are developing a new straight-six engine. Toyota, Subaru, Suzuki and Mazda are close together developing technologies of next car generations.

Let's also get our feet a little wet with motorcycles. In the early to mid 40s, Indian was the only American based motorcycle company to counter Harley Davidson. Indian closed shop about the early 50s. Now they're back. But Indian is not the company years ago. Now it's a subsidiary of Polaris. I just wonder in these hard times if Polaris will (hopefully) stick around. If all else fails, I'll be looking into a Ducati or even a Triumph (true, not American, but higher quality, IMO.

I was in the reception area at a steel works in Rotherham a couple of decades ago.
There was a display cabinet showing some of the components that they produce for the car industry.
One such component was a rear axle. The plaque read that it was installed in Mitsubishi Charisma, Volvo S40 and Jaguar cars.
I could just imagine a Jaguar driver pulling away from a traffic light and sneering at Charisma and Volvo drivers.
I love Jags, by the way.

I had my second hand 2007 Honda Civic Si since 2014, the ac never worked good. Had a shop look at it last week and they said the relay needs to be changed and turned out the relay would get fried when they turned the ac on because too much power was being sent to it and my only option would be to replace the whole ac system and it would cost 1, 858. 00. Is there another way to fix this problem or do I have to shell out all that money?

Stew. When I clean out my fridge, I make stew. Often it's. well, I won't say. Sometimes it's fabulous, but I don't remember what was in it. They make friends, swap juices, and say'YUK'!
When folks that educated beyond their intelligence, the result might be a Citation, Vega, Saturn, Yugo, or any others some might piss on.
Scotty, is this an analogy? Too many ideas, combined with too many big egos, is a mess.

Here's something else you might find. surprising:
MERCEDES has sparked a privacy row by admitting it spies on drivers with tracking devices covertly installed in its cars.
The secret sensors, fitted to all new and used motors sold by the firm s dealers, pinpoint the vehicle s exact location.
Mercedes will not say how long it has used the sensors.

That's why I'll never buy audi. Sure Toyota is Lexus but they never share the same chasis other then the ES (which I'll also never buy)
If I'm paying premium prices It won't be for a car that shares pretty much everything with a car that starts at under 30k. If they were priced a little more then VW then id consider it

My company truck is a 2015 Chevy one ton and while it was assembled in Flint MI, I noticed some Japanese sourced parts on it. For one, she comes stock with a Denso alternator and the power window controls look like that of a Toyota. Either way I like my Tacoma a hell of a lot more.
