Heres Why the Toyota 4Runner is Worth 40, 000 C V: My 4runner is 15years and indestructible. NYC driving also. 4car accidents only a rear panel ever broken cheap fix. A mustang front crumbled lodged unnder my wheel, I barely saw a scuff. Buick suv smashed into me his front smashed, I only had a deflated rear tire and broken rim cap. 2 caars rear ended me and fcked their front bumper up fell off. They hit my flat tow hitch that came with the car with steel frame. Every accident I walked away annoyed I got late to my destination lol. Mechanically only brakes and rotors. I use synthetic oil and vere filled up any other fluids and levels are same.

It may be outdated but its probably one of the best if not one of the toughest built vehicles out there. My 4runner was stolen and was beat to death going over curbs and sidewalks like crazy while the suspect was chased by the police. After getting it back, I took it to the shop to make sure the suspension was ok and was so worried about the suspect had ruined my vehicle. The only thing that needed to be replaced was the tires. For how much beating this SUV has taken fleeing the police going over every curb, this vehicle is truly a tank. Never has let me down.

Bought a new SR5 in 2006 super basic model. Have taken it on so many adventures with my family and brought two babies home in it. Now has over 180K and still going strong. Boggles my mind how people have a new car every 4 years? Ill cry when we buy a new 4Runner and give up our old one. Maybe well keep it and give it to my daughter one day. Planning to mod the new one out and do the Canyonlands/white Rim trail in Utah if all goes as planned Really want that 4X4 and better rack.

These are the type of Gimps that are buying these trucks these days. This guy is not an off road enthusiast. But simply a goon driving a pavement princess. This is the first time this guy has seen the sun in months. These nerds spend so much time trying to make their trucks look cool rather than actually using these trucks off road like intended for. Anyone can buy all this stuff and put it on. I have one of these and it is not that great. It is the most dated vehicle out there.

100% honest. Just traded my 2015 Limited for a 2019 F-150. I absolutely loved the 4 runner. I traded it because it wasnt built to tow (yes, it can, but not comfortably. I towed about 3k pounds close to 500 miles through mountains and high altitudes. It wasnt fun. I had a shrockworks steel bumper, lift, 275 E rated tires, budbuilt 3/16 steel skid plated, budbuilt rock sliders, roof rack and more. The 4runner would be perfect if it had more power. and towing capacity.

I have a 2014 Trail. I use it for deer hunting. Great off road vehicle especially when the going gets technical and gnarly. On the road and light off road use my wifes 2011 Subaru Forester is a better choice. A lot less money, better handling and WAY better brakes. The looks just dont juice my manhood ego as much as the 4Runner. Great vid. a lot of work. Well done.

I have a Toyota Tundra 2016 limited TRD 4x4 I had it made to my specs from the factory and honestly Im really disappointed, the interior is an absolute joke. The navigation system is completely useless you cant even see it in daylight. The old interior design was much better I am baffled at why Toyota dropped the ball with these trucks.

Toyota needs to update that 4. 0L (1GR-FE) and the tranny that is mated to it. Its about time. Sure, is indestructible Toyota fans may claim. But in a 21st century of 8spd and 10spd auto-transmissions: is outdated Same with the interior and infotainment center All in all, it is one of the most badass looking trucks outside

So why 40. 000. 5 speed transmission in 2019. if you guys keep on paying 40 k on those dinosaurs Toyota will keep on laughing at you. aint broken down fix it. oh boy, is like you guys asked to get fked. So guys explain please why they ask so much for a car that is outdated in so many levels.

Glad you mentioned KDSS. For anyone shopping 4R, take some reasonably quick corners in KDSS vs non-KDSS. X-REAS is similar (in Limited, on-road. Many debates online about the value of either over base, but a test-drive with a few corners will show you its worth it. Nice ride dude.
