The Best SUV You Don t Know About fernando: Back then when I didn t know cars my uncle gave us his pilot to my parents and everyone thought it was a junk car and it was going to break down. Years later it goes pretty solid and it never had any real problems. I ve borrowed it for work and it was reliable I almost wanted the car lol and Heck we took it to the N. C. state fair once since it was the only Suv and it was solid. It has 260, 000 miles now and I find it funny when family members still think that car is at its limit haha. Seeing scottys videos has helped me learn cars for fun and reassures that my parents pilot is going to last a while

Sorry to disagree with you on this one. I and 2 of my friends own this exact same 2003 Honda Pilot and spec with Navigation, except for the after-market sunroof. All 3 of ours had the exact same issue around the same mileage or power steering going out at 110K and all 3 of us had 3rd gear transmission go out at 135K, 180K and 200K. They even had a early recall on the transmission covering upto 100K mileage, but it has the issue past it. For this reason as you stated in the past, Honda's have great engines, but weak transmissions, which is true for the Honda Pilot. Honda would not cover any of our SUVs, so none of us have ever bought a Honda ever since. We are Toyota and Lexus people now.

I got the same 03 pilot with just over 130kmiles on it ex-l trim as well same color same color leather seats still running strong btw it s not a 6 speed it s a 5 speed fwd with an opinion of 4wd the 3. 5 vtec engines are pretty fast too I ve kept up with brand new f-150 s that have those ecoboost motors also I think those chrome pieces were added on also the only bad thing I would point out mine gets used everyday so the leather seats in the front have a tear in the middle but overall I think it s a reliable suv great sound system as well, I have a 00 GMC Yukon SLT with the 5. 3 vortec motor in it and both vehicles are holding up great still to this day

I bought an 04 Pilot in 2010 with 128, 000 miles on it. I drove it to work every day as well as used it for my family car. With four kids it was the perfect choice and an awesome vehicle. I have since given it to my son who is still driving it and it is running great with over 315, 000 miles on it. Honda makes a great product and if taken care of with give you years of service. Thanks for all you do Scotty!

I remember back in the 80's we had all these cheap rust bucket Ford's made in England like the XR2 the XR3 and us Fools as kids though these cheap rust buckets were fast and along came a kid with his mum's Honda CRX it was a game changer fast reliable and long lasting this little Honda went around corners on rails. the Honda CRX was a little treasure

Big mistake by Indycar. Look what the hybrids did to F1. The engines are now so expensive and complicated even Honda couldn't afford to stay in. And there's no way another manufacturer will join because of the cost. Forget hybrid, most race fans couldn't care less how efficient race cars are. We just want loud, fast close racing.

I got a 2006 Honda Pilot. 216, 000 miles. Minimal maintenance, tires, alternator, valve adjustment, in the past couple years. Gas doesn t feel terrible, wouldn t really recommend towing with it it starts to go through gas like crazy but I love it might get another one or maybe a 4Runner don t know

My dad has one of these but almost every time there's these yellow light that turns on. I don't remember quite well but is something like QTMS or something like it. It usually turns on when the AC is turned on during summer time. If anyone has some input on that id appreciate it a lot. TY.

Scotty may think that football (proper name) is boring, but it s the #1 played and watched sport for a reason. There is no other tournament (besides the Olympics) where nations compete in sport in the scale of football. That s why it s called the beautiful game.
