I had the same problem in reverse in my younger days. 1986 Ford Taurus. By the time I junked that steaming pile of manure I'd broken every OUTSIDE door handle except the passenger side rear door. The only way to get in was to open that door climb in reach across and forward to open the driver door. Climb back out. Go around and get in. Every handle broke in the winter trying to open a frozen door. Water would seep into the jamb, freeze at night around the weatherstripping and jam it shut. There is NOTHING to grab to open the door except the handle made of CHEAP plastic. SNAP

I'm surprised you don't know the Terry cloth trick with window cranks. Take a Terry cloth, fold it over, slide it between the door panel and crank, then pull back and forth in a sawing motion. The cloth will grab the clip and pull it out then it usually gets stuck in the cloth. Boom.

Something similar for the outside door handle that is known for breaking on Nissan's, Toyota's and other vehicles because it is made from plastic, you need to removed all that is shown in this video to access the back of the door handle on the outside.

hi Scotty. i have a car that is 12 years old Mazda 3 2. 3L engine got it new. since then I haven't replaced any fluids/ spark plugs except doing oil change. . it still starts. do you think it's time to do a tune up. ? car still run alright.

Scotty my car makes a rubbing/grinding noise when turning the wheels. I have a 2001 Audi S3. My dad thinks it is suspension related as the car steers just fine and handling is not affected. Should I be worried about it?

This would've been good last year, because then my dad's Hyundai wouldn't open up from the inside, and i had to get out to open the door up for him. But at least next time i know what to do, so thanks.

Now I that I know how to repair that. I can double charge on the parts and labor, but low enough to be a competitor. Just kidding. I don't have the time or patient for it let alone do it on my own car.

My driver door has both no handle on the inside and outside. I used to be able to open it by pulling on the cable in the handle slot but I hit the lock button and now it will not open. Any help?

Hi Scotty, thank you for helping everyone out with your knowledge and videos. I had to do this to my 05 Kia Spectra. I got tired of rolling down my window just to get out of my car.
