For the GooBeGone person, Scott (unsurprisingly) is dead on The one thing I would suggest next is a good quality rubbing compound. Just be very careful and follow the instructions dutifully. This removes layers of paint sealant. You have been warned After the compound work is done, use a good sealant and polish. I, personally, use RejeX. But there are many out there to pick from. Just Google the item before buying. Anyhow, this may be a bit of over kill, so definitely go the GOO GONE route first. If that doesn't work, try the compound version next. Good luck saving your baby. And don't forget to rub up your engine

My gf took her car to Firestone for state inspection I told her it was a big mistake After she came home they told her she needed ball joints, struts, brake calipers, brakes, rotors, That it would cost her over 2, 000I did front and rear brakes didn't need calipers they were good weren't leaking or sized Checked front end nice and tight Struts were good not leaking Than I took it to a independent mechanic for inspection he passed it after checking it out himself Bottom line stay away from Firestone Firestone is crooks

The reason why people in California work on their own cars is because to save money just like everybody else around the United States, I lived in Southern California almost all my life for more than50 years and now I live in Northern California for the last couple years and the labor cost is astronomical more than doubled here, as far as the law passing to prohibit working on your own car has not happened yet therefore the lawmakers and everybody else can kiss my big mechanical wrench

Why would (leftist) California prohibit people from repairing their own cars? Because they hate private car ownership and want to reduce the number of private cars in use. Repairing your own car saves money. The savings often make the difference between being able to own a car, or junking it. Leftists want people in buses and trains, or on bicycles, or walking. By making cars unaffordable, they will force people into urban areas where mass transit rules. That's the real agenda here.

Scotty, what you are complaining about is freedom. If a dealer offers a Honda for 44K and I pay the price I am obviously happy with the price or I wouldn't have paid the price. No one is holding a gun to the heads of buyers here. Now why would a normal, intelligent man sell a car for less that 44K if he has willing buyers at that price? Would you? Remember that consumers, not sellers, decide what prices will be. Sellers react to consumer demand.

3: 44 Speaking of KIA Soul MPG. my 2015 Soul + has display for Trip A, Trip B, range, mpg, elapsed time. I reset everything at fill up, write Trip A mileage on pump receiptas well as display's mpg reading. At home I calculate actual mpg the old fashion way(miles divided by gallons) and that is always lower (1-1. 5 mpg) than display's mpg. Wonder if KIA's computer programmed to embellish mileage or some other reasondisplay does not equal actual.

A lot of the Honda dealerships marking up the Type R by 4000 AND a mandatory dealer added accessory (side moldings, window tint, alarm system (even if the car came with one) that no one wants, for another 5000. And a lot of dealerships straight up refuse to sell to out of state because the customer will take the car at a good price but won't be returning there so they rather sell it to someone in state to retain the customer.

I sold Honda's for 5 years. Most Honda models are sold for only a few hundred dollars over dealer invoice. This is Honda's chance to make some money for a change. They know they have a model in hot demand, and have priced it accordingly. It's the old law of supply and demand. If you don't like it, buy a regular Civic. Nothing wrong with it. It's got all the power you need, and you can deal on it.

I know Scotty talks against buying cars brand new as theyre way over priced (and lets face it, they are very expensive) but there's no harm buying something new that brings you joy. As long as you can afford it, with a price you're happy paying, buy it. You have one life, if you want to experience having a brand new car, go do it. You cant spoil yourself when you're dead and its too late.
