Awesome new rev on the red line intro. Scotty keeps himself busy wrenching and making videos so he is not always sitting in the Cheers of Houston bar like Cliff Clavin & Norm Peterson, who were only concerned if the kegs of beer are full & the tappers work properly. Liked Scottys stereo speaker storytelling because as a matter of fact i still own my big Kenwood 3 way wood cabinet type speakers i bought in 1977. They sound brand new and shake my house at 30%/40% volume. Although i did spend 63 to have the soft 1 wide(+/-) flexible foamy stuff surrounding the outer edges of the woofers replaced (attaches the woofer edges to the outer metal base that screws into the wood cabinet) at Sonic Sound about/maybe 5 years ago, because the flexible stuff>> it got old/brittle and little pieces shook themselves loose. No way am i whining/complaining, im thrilled. Actually nowadays they rarely make stuff to last the test of time, like they used too. It was nice to find a guy who actually knows what hes doing and can easily fix it for a bargain price. As opposed to buy some new throwaway disposable junk. = Similar to a Fiat

Not all young people spend their money willy-nilly, because of the massive amount of student loans you can't and it's actually just the 40/50 year olds who only spend like there is no tomorrow and buy the latest greatest toy. And smartphones are easier to replace after 2 years because of contracts, this is no actual a disposable economy. this whole thing is actually a bit of a myth in reality, most young people are very careful with their money nowadays and their parents aren't (with their double mortgages and ships, and new cars every 4 years

Scotty, two questions. Does the airbag light being lit commonly render the SRS system inoperable? I read that somewhere but it might have been a sales tactic. Also, I keep hearing people suggesting using OEM oil filters for my car. Is that the best way to go and why? I have seen people claim that certain makes of car won't filter the oil at peak efficiency with after market filters. Specifically, I have heard Subarus and the Korean cars Hyundai and Kia do best with OEM filters. Please shed your wisdom on these subjects. Thanks

Have a 97 nissan 5 speed 4x4 hardbody pickup that was my paps but the transmission went out years ago, been sitting for years. Kinda wonder if an old toyota pickup's transmission could fit 94 model i think 4x4 5 speed. Already have a trans for it, but it was got at a junkyard for 20 dollars and has been sitting on the ground as long as the truck dont really even know if its the right transmission. a good 8+ years. Love the nissan looks and heard their very reliable, be nice to have it fixed.

I'm 3 years younger than you, but my mentality is the same. The old man got too old to work on his '56 RR Silver Cloud 1, so drove it over to my home a decade ago saying here son, your the caretaker now and pass it down. I drive a 1996 Toyota Camry. Old mechanics, good on petrol (gas) and doesn't cause me a problem. If I want to impress, I roll the roller out. Only 2200 made and how many left after 63 years?

Also, saw some theories that giving kids too much money ruins 'em cause they need to learn to work for it. Some rich parents have said they won't give their kids a single penny and intend to make them work for it and make it or fail on their own. I think that's a bit harsh myself. Pay off their college, pay off their house. Either of those would help them tremendously but they'd still need to work.

I love it when you talk about mercedes. I wrote my 2010 Grand Cherokee and leased a 2015 mercedes c300. Little did I know that under leased you need to get the OEM brake service done. Brand new parts all around at only 20, 000km. But it was still legally their car and I didn't read all the paperwork. From a chrysler to a mercedes lol. You live and you learn.

Hey Scotty Cheers from OhioI've got an '02 BMW 325i with 150K miles. My steering wheel has a bit of vibration at medium to highway speeds. Sometimes the vibrations stop when I hit the brakes, and other times the brakes make it shake worse. Please help. Thanks
