I haven't even watched the video yet and I already approve. This is my favorite Honda, a close 2nd place would be an s2kAlso the fact that most CVTs have a manual mode is pretty dumb, just drive the car m8. Press the gas pedal and go that's the whole point of the transmission. It doesn't even have gears, man. The car knows better. I hate to say it but it's true 100%. Those CVTs are probably the best automatic transmission out there. I'd still rather have a manual tho, just my opinion. They are slower than a modern automatic in every way but they're cheap, easy to fix, and 10x more fun to drive. CVTs are just your point A to point B driving, idk man I think it takes the fun out of it tho. Some people just absolutely hate driving tho, and I suppose that's the perfect thing for them

Replacing a clutch on a ranger, not good dealing with depending on the personality of the truck Rangers can be finicky or fun as Hell, they all are different and have different social skills and morals But they dont have much for feelings so dont worry about breaking them. They do a good job of that all on their own Ive had three, only two- technically. the old rangers were full-size pre f150s in a sense But whos naming names? Or cares? Ive always wanted an Akerahh (acura NSX) They were my top choice of favorite dream cars when I was a kid. The price back in those days was pretty steep but those days are Lang since extinct I couldnt even afford gas in an integra, and still cant Ive got a get some coffee or sumfin Rev up your bullhorns

I LOVE that Scotty likes them older Rangers They ARE cheap to buy (he made a video about it, well ok the b2000, easy to work on, and do last. I have a '95 with the 4cyl and manual tranny. 170k miles, I am the second owner. Great little truck and bullet proof little engine. BEWARE. I bought mine up north (and moved south recently) and the rear shackles and mounts are notorious for rotting out, Rock Auto sells the replacements cheap (and they are BETTER than OEM. The 4cyl is no monster, but the timing belt is relatively easy to change, and these little motors will go for ever with great gas mileage and are great 'home improvement ' material haulers

Scotty, could you comment on Volvo cars after divestiture from original manufacturers to China owners. Specifically this was safety car before meaning if hit by trailer at speed the occupants guaranteed walk away alive and without scratch on them due to powerful solid body of how original manufacturers used to build car. No other brand local or foreign can attest to this high safety standard of trailer crash at speed lives would be lost roofs crushed in Hondas Toyotas fords etc. How has Volvo cars safety build changed with divestiture? And if you can comment on cars engine longevity before and after, would appreciate it.

Uhaul doesnt own Diesels anymore. They know the milage is wayyy better but bashed them for pollution. Heres a piece from their website: Mile for mile, diesel trucks release more toxic air contaminants, cancer-causing soot, and smog-forming emissions than gasoline-powered trucks. Greenhouse gas emissions from a gallon of diesel are 15% higher than those from a gallon of gasoline. Thats why all U-Haul rental trucks use cleaner-burning unleaded fuel.

Sometimes, water damage can cause the blower fan resistor can cause the short. Had that issue twice on my car in 2016 and a few months ago. Replaced the resistor and it worked for a while and stopped working again. Had water come into my car since the cowl water deflector was out of position, so I fixed that, then replaced the resistor and blower fan as the blower fan was a bit rusty, but it still worked.

A CVT is like a 21 speed bike, but you replace the chain with a belt and each gear set with a cone. They accelerate faster because you can just peg the rpm at 4000 and there is no hesitation because of gear shifting. You can also go from 0-60 without going above 1500. rpm to save on gas. But only Honda and Toyota have figured it out. Avoid all other CVTs

The first NSX featured the ground breaking (at the time for a production car) titanium connecting rods and performance-oriented VTEC (though my erstwhile 1992 Civic VX featured an e-VTEC (economy) shortly after the NSX came out. Individual parts for the NSX can be very expensive relative to normal Honda parts, but Id still love to own one.
