Having lived in North America for the past 50 years grand scenery such as encountered between Oslo and Bergen is not foreign to me. Comparisons really arent appropriate as they often are made as ratings. The world is full of wondrous places. I noted one comment starting out saying that the writer thought that similar grandeur as here was not to be found in the UK. I strongly challenge this. The colors found in this marvelous train journey can be found in many places in Scotland, the Lake District of Cumberland and Westmorland, Snowdonia, coastal Devon and Cornwall etc etc. Each place has its splendor. Revel by all means but keep the ratings out of it.

Oh wow a new route for me! Good grief, I can't imagine running this in a snow storm. You have some excellent train handling skills. With the grades and such, I imagine you need to be on top of the train dynamics at all times.
The landscape on this line is stunning, almost surreal. I lost count of the waterfalls.

Great video (my children love it too, together with the one in opposite direction, so in the future Flamsbana is the must on our sightseeing list. One question - are both locomotives active during ascent/descent? If the rear one is active - is the rear one controlled as remote unit?

its not really a mill views, its just that some of us keep coming back to watch your vids over and ova and o. ohh well.
For some strange reason 2Cello music and your vids work well together - timing on their music and the pylons match: )

Thank you for taking us on this great train ride. So many people are not able to go on this ride in person, so it is fantastic to be able to experience it this way. :-)

Thank you for the wonderful video! I hope that you post the return trip.
It is a pity that El 17 have left the line, I understand that time is inexorable.

it's always a relaxing cab ride in magnificent landscapes. how went it out with the white sheep along the line on the right side, some 10 min before end?
