Enjoy your vids! Love the route over hardangervidda since I've been there (but traveling by car back then. From your commentary I get you got privatization issues in Norway too. :( It's the bubonic plague and cholera in union. The kind of infrastructure a railroad organization is has to be strictly public to maintain operation. Privatize it and you will loose safety and have to pay higher prices for tickets. We've had that in Germany beginning from the 1990s and the result is an overly disfunct railroad.
Even our modern rolling material is way less comfortable than the old wagons have been.

Aha, now, after ca. 40 minutes I suddenly heard the same voice speaking norvegian! So for me it is clear now: This must be You, in person. Your mother language sounds quite interesting, and although they pretend, German and Norvegian belong to the same family of languages, I do not understand anything! But it sounds nice. I once met someone from Island, he sounded very similar, and I could not understand anything either. Thank God English is understood nearly everywhere. In my case, French would be a possibility, too.

Wow - bursting into the sun shining through mist at 1: 08: 22 - beautiful! Interesting explanation of how request stop ticketing works. It sounds like a person getting off on a short platform stop will automatically be assigned seating in a car that will line up with the platform. because of the pinpoint skill of the driver, of course! :)

Norway at this time of year looks like a winter wonderland
The narration is a nice addition as well. I rarely get to make it to the actual premiere due to timezone differences, so the occasional voice-over made it feel more live even though I'm watching a day later.

HCG. I can see why you love snow/winter over summer! It's beautiful! I live in Australia and most of us do not come close to snow! I'd say 99% of Australia _never_ gets snow all year around. So we miss out on the beauty of enchantment around each corner on our train rides!

Asthmatic donkey - ahahaha! Too bad you can't choose the horn sound, like choosing a ringtone. A nice, strong elephant trumpet or the opening notes of Beethoven's 5th. Something that commands more respect. (Although the train itself does a good job of that.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, or even the lone voice. I do not like the narration. The quiet relaxation of the train is ruined by talking over the train sound. The talking starts and the viewing stops.

Do you ever see any wildlife on the rails? I've watched a few of your videos and I've not seen any activities from four legs nor two wings. Surely not every animal there is hibernating?

Another outstanding video. Considering the low natural light, winter in Norway, color and details was very good. Far away objects crisp and clear. Great Job Thank You!

The long tunnel between Drammen and Asker - I see it contains a double track. Do two trains passing each other at high speed create turbulence you can feel?
