I really hope, now that rail transportation is getting liberalized in the EU (it's mandatory on December 2020, some operator, like flixtrain or other ones, start operating 'classic' (aka non high speed) lines with trains like this for cheap. In Spain for example, most regional trains, sleeper trains, and long distance -slow- trains have been completely dismantled in favour of the very expensive AVE network, which neither covers the entire territory nor all people can afford to use. And also, as Spain has a different Gauge between classic and high speed lines, AVE stations in Cuenca, Guadalajara, Antequera, Tarragona, and more cities are really far from the city centers and the classic, usually pretty cool stations. (Ave is Spanish TGV for reference)

Excellent video my friend. I am sad to know that some of the BB26000 locomotives are being withdrawn from service. They are my favourite SNCF locomotives and maybe they should sell them to other train companies rather than scrap them. They look too new to be scrapped.

Je suis italien mais j'ai Voyage' avec le tgv reseaux torino-paris et le tgv douplex pour Barcellona, il sont tres rapides mais peu comfortables, je voudrais prendre un de Ces trains traditionels. J'adore paris gare de Lyon

corail trains were among the best trains in europe sad they are retiring them because of european rules they replace them with EMU's with plastic seats and look like tramways inside

Oh boy, I am jealous of you French people who have this option. I can-t do this between Tokyo and Osaka because the conventional lines are so full of commuter trains!

When the train is crowded, finding room for your suitcase (even a carryon size) can be a problem unless you're boarding at the beginning of the run.

The Corail coaches are not ex Normandy, they don-t have the Normandy livery. These are Paris-Nevers coaches, they also leave from Bercy.

Many years ago - There were Corails on Dutch tracks. Mainly on the EC Amsterdam - Paris but also as rental by NS on the Den Haag - Venlo line.

2 years ago i used to see an intercitee every 30 mins at bartenheim, now every 6 Hours! bad, SNCF!
