On the weekend of April 27th and 28th, Santa Fe Steam Locomotive 3751 ran to San Bernardino Railroad Days for the fourth year in a row. This video features the train on its eastward journey from Los Angeles Union Station, LAUPT, to the San Bernardino Santa Fe Train Depot where the Railroad Days event was taking place. This is probably the last time this trip will be made for a few years, so I wanted to make sure to get out and see it one more time

Good old 3751 has to have my favorite steam whistle of all time! I love that 6 chime passenger whistle.
Edit: 5: 20 Sounds like Ed Dickens whistle call from Union Pacific, did he take control of the old Northern?

So me wishing for warmer weather and having an itch for west coast steam have been watching videos like this. Great video, and only hope to be able to chase someday

how come everytime a steam engine runs it always seems to have a diseal behind it? is it for extra pull power just in case or?
