OMG, WHAT HAPPENED TO NICOLE! - Surgery - Jake & Nicole Ricci: I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed in Vancouver. then I had to travel by Greyhound immediately after to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island for a family event with a frozen mouth full of gauze. I fell asleep on the bus, a hard and deep sleep. I fell asleep on a strange man's shoulder. He was seated next to me on the bus. The poor guy ended up with his shoulder covered in my blood and drool. all over his nice, clean grey hoodie. But, he let me sleep. all the way to Nanaimo. I slept through the whole 1 hour drive to Horseshoe Bay from the bus depot. I slept through the whole 90 minute ferry ride to Nanaimo. When it was time to de-board the bus, he gently woke me up telling me we were in Nanaimo. Of course, I was completely discombobulated and confused as to who this strange man was. Then, I saw his blood and saliva stained hoodie and I was mortified! I apologized profusely and offered to buy him a new hoodie. he politely refused and said, -I am just glad that I could be your shoulder in your time of need. Clearly, you just had dental surgery and were a bit out of it. I couldn't bear to wake you up, you needed to rest. Don't worry about my hoodie, just follow the dentist's orders for your after care and take good care of yourself. -. I started to cry. Wow! What a kind and compassionate stranger. and how he made my ordeal just that much easier. Still remember his face. that was 20 years ago.

And putting that cold pac on your swollen jaws, in my opinion and having experience, is a bunch of crap. In my case all those cold pacs do is made my jaws hurt more. Best wishes to you and your recovery.

hope you heal up good: ) i have 4 wisdom teeth removed and upper jaw surgery for an exposure my too so part of my pallet was missing that was 9 years ago: p Sleep soft foods soups are the best

Wisdom teeth extraction was the most pain I have ever experienced. When I want to convey what real pain is I describe it as having your wisdom teeth pulled.

Now i can say i had mine taken out. Owww. Was NOT fun. You do survive, though. Maybe that stew would be better in a couple days. Sounds solid.

Put everything in the mixer so she can drink it instead of chewing it. That is what I did when I took my tonsils out and could not chew

I had all 4 of mine out at once too. I looked like Marlon Brando in The Godfather after lol! It's tough it hurts for a while.

Omg. Ouch. I remember mine. My daughter on the other hand has all 4. Dont understand why, but they were never pulled
