Todays episode is a really good one! We FINALLY finished the car port. - I also get into some real talk about what it's like living off the grid Treasurex: WOW! I am so happy for you two! I just want to pack my stuff here in phoenix and come visit you to help clear trees and move soil. I have the experience to climb trees and cut them, the strength to share a lot of it with you for free and the motivation that someone needs to help someone change their life. You guys inspire me, you guys are awesome. I honestly wished we would have met. You would be a but surprised if you knew who my girlfriend is but I am positive it would be a happy surprise haha. You guys are awesome. Seriously. I can help. And I don't want anything in return. Being friends or calling you two friends would be a bigger payment than anything else. Stay safe and keep going, so many are watching. The negative comments are from the ones that just don't have the balls to go out there and do what you are doing. Ignoring them is the most powerful thing you can do. It will destroy them one by one. :)

Been watching your adventure on your new home base. And the trail to the river that you share with the wildlife for water, I think you should get a game cam, you really need to know who and what shares it with you. I was attacked by bears in the mountains, they were not after me, but my food. Not sure of where you are at, but I think it would be wise to know what critters are lurking about. Understand they know your there, they smell the cooking and food. Anyway thats my 2 cents worth. By the way 4 more years and I retire, plan to build a cabin in Colorado mountains to live. But haven't located that perfect spot yet. Well good luck and be safe smart. Doug

More power to you for opening up. since you usually show only the good times, it is nice to know that you do get down at times--it is only human! I am truly amazed at the accuracy of your weather forecasts there for when I lived in Anchorage it was rare, and I mean rare, that our weather forecasts were any where close to accurate, even here in Arizona one questions the forecast when it is not hot, hot, hot! Thanks for your wonderful vlogs!

Good luck with your lifetime adventure. Lovely to see the love you share. Why don-t you get some waterproof clothes and proper hiking boots? :) also regarding the easy build structure, if it is only temporary, wouldn-t it be more convenient to get a big gazebo? Gazebos are waterproof and easy to build and move. This one will be hard to move because it-s metal and fixed in the ground with concrete. Just a few thoughts.

Good On Ya for workin' hard and realizing this is a step on the journey and you will have moments of -oh my GOD what did I agree to? - and even more moments of -oh my, this is my Life now I am So Blessed! -
It's great that you're doing a journal of not only what you are accomplishing but also how you are feeling along the way, next year when you look thru these video's you just might shock yourself: )

You guys are doing fantastic. Really appreciate the -confession- Nicole. One of the things that helps me live a yurt life is letting go of our modern perception of timeliness. It's a lifestyle that takes a lot of work and time. So it's going to take you longer to do things. and that is ok. Give yourself grace. Love to see how you support each other. Humor helps a lot!

Genuinely YOU ARE BOTH AMAZING. Your strong spirit and focus is an inspiration. Real talk by Nicole is the human experience making thought and vision meet, with real-life experiences. The yert will make all this worth it that's for sure!
Kindness your way

I really feel for you Nicole. I treasure your -confessions -. You-re so honest and real. I watched one of your recent vlogs and have gone right back to the beginning of your story. I skipped the travelling vlogs for the moment and have started on your off grid journey. I love you two xx

Thank you again for the peek into your lives, and journey. It's ok to have feelings that it's hard, it is hard! If it wasn't, everyone would do it, then it wouldnt feel like pioneering, cutting your own path in life. Thank you for the positive outlook while remaining real about it: )

I understand why you do it but it is a shame you have to use racy thumbnails to get your views up. Your content that I have watched is very good and I feel like some of your thumbnails are not indicative of the quality on many levels of the moments in your life that you choose to share.
