You didnt mention cabbage and cucumbers which you can prepare, put them too the jars and safe it for the winter. For the winter you will have sauertkraut and pickled cucombers which is good. Any way you are doing grate job. Buttom line. In the previous video you mention Anchorage. I lived in Anchorage, AK. (In the past) for over 12 years. Ok. Take care yourself guys. Bye. --

I would highly recommend to plant calendula flowers as well. The whole plant is edible. The flower petals can be added to salads or dried for tea. The green leaves can be used as mosquito repellent. Just crush the leaves and rub directly on the skin. Sage tea can also help to detour the mosquitos.

I really think one of your beds, should have a foot of soil. for growing any plant that grows under the soil. Potatoes, carrots, parsnips, turnips, etc, I think this will produce a larger crop.

How do you survive the winter months? Since obviously you can-t grow vegetables over the winter months and no way to store vegetables over the winter months.

Try planting a few plants that you don-t want but the birds love perhaps. Oregon grape is a deer magnet if you get deer coming in to nibble your stuff

As I watch your videos it comes to mind that your relationship with each other, the animals, the garden and environment personify true love
