Thank you for sharing your family and your story. I was emotional too when you spoke of your mother NIcole. I ean it is not like she is a few minutes away. We are mothers forever, no matter where our children are or how old they become! You do look a bit tired and that is to be expected, but you also both are so very much in love with each other and your children and that shines through as well. Take sleep when you can - when they sleep -to maintain your own stamina. Many people - especial the mothers will sleep during nap times until the children are much older. I tended to do tasks that certainly could most certainly have waited. but I prioritized them when I should have rested alongside them. I am so happy for you and besides gads of diapers to wash and being sleepy - I can see clearly that you are doing great!

Welcome to the world of a twins!
I have identical girls that are just turning 21
I nursed mine for their first year of life until they went onto whole milk
The first four months were insane! So when one wakes up, you wake the other one up
You can know how much they’re getting approximately if you weigh them before and after the feed
Weigh them with their diaper on that way, if they go to the washroom, it’s in the diaper and part of them just as it would be if they didn’t go in the diaper prior to weighing
That’ll give you an idea how many ounces they’re drinking at a feed from you: )
Even though minor identical, twins, they look very different to me.
I think as parents, we see the subtle differences, even though they are identical twins’

Haven't watched one of your videos in ages. Life has ebs and flows and time flies. Life doesn't give you all the answers. Sometimes you never get the answer, but you grow. From an oldish lady to a not so young anymore couple: You have grown into a beautiful, inspirational family dynamic. And you make the world a better place. Motherhood is a spiritual awakening into another dimension with multiple colourfull layers and depths to it and it changes your spirit and soul forever. I thank God for your lives. Lots of blessings.

I know having twins was a shock but Im so pleased you got the birth experience you wanted. It must have been scary having your water break so much earlier than you expected and wanted and its not surprising you were worried about having to go to the hospital after your previous experience. I love their names, so pretty and I was able to tell them apart as River looks much smaller than Willow. Your a great mom Nicolle so you are going to be fine. Thank you for sharing your birth story x

I’m having mono mono twins and they are girls it was one egg one placenta and two cords and they are identical twins and im really excited and im so so happy for you guys and I can’t wait for my babies to be born i have to go in the hospital in 4 weeks and stay their so they can monitor them but they are taking them at 34 weeks but congratulations on the babies and I can’t wait to see where your guys journey goes next

Just goes to show that when indoctrination intervention is left behind and human nature with all its elements is allowed in full force, we as human beings are fine by ourselves! I had the same kind of twins. They're now twenty six. Lol mine are actually Identical mirror twins one's left handed one's right handed. I also nursed mine both at the same time and they also were on the same schedule. Mine were 5 and a half weeks early. And congratulations. Mine were also number three and four, so I had two older children.

nicolleoffgrid ask your midwife if there is a chance that maybe your uterus is small or half the size it should be. Maybe that is why you always delivered early because the babies ran out of room. My cousin found this out in her case with 2 ND time infertility. They did an ultrasound and her 1st pregnancy she went into labor 3 month early

Im only a few minutes in to this video and having flashbacks to when my twins were first born. It was so tiring! Bless you mama! It is hard work but so worth it! Twin energy is amazing! Mine are 11 now. My identical twins split early and had two placenta’s that merged into one. We know they are identical because we transferred only one embryo.

I shed tears when you talked about your mom, Nicole. My mom was at my home birth 6 months ago and stayed with us for 2 weeks after here abroad in Bolivia and she was an angel. She’s my best friend. The cycle with be full the day you get to support your girls when they have families

They are beautiful! We have twins every generation. I’m a twin my grandmother had twins, my sister has twins my brother has twins my daughter has twins. They are so fun to watch as they grow up. Plus you always have a playmate. What a great blessing for you all. congratulations

congratulations! I love this story so much! I am currently pregnant and refuse to go back to a hospital. I have a midwife who has agreed to do a vbac after 2 c sections so hearing your story of home birthing TWINS is really inspiring and beautiful!
