There is just so much that you don't know, yes you think you do, I don't want to be mean, but you need to think safety first! After seeing a few of your videos I just think that you are two young folks that are -playing- and getting paid to do so! Lets get real, firstly nothing wrong with being on the grid either! Balance is the key in everything, and I think that you are doing something that will certainly NOT be for the rest of your lives, I get that we are all here to live and learn! Your choice, How about a little homestead closer in to others, house mabe barn, Believe me, what you are doing will get old very fast and 40 years from now you will be all crippled up because you don't seem to realize that you need to pace yourselves and be more concerned with safety. On the up side, I will say that I admire your enthusiasm, your willingness and eagerness to try new things, so weather or not you continue on there years from now, at least you gave it a try, The young lady should be having children and being a mother at her age. She is a very capable young woman, not a man, but a woman, not doing men's work which may cripple her. Don't wait to long to discover balance! Be more careful! You obviously have never seen what kickback from a chainsaw can do to a person, it can take your head off, trees often fall in the wrong place and often get caught up in other trees, Pay ATTENTION! Listen to some of the very wise comments that people are posting, I am talking about those folks who have been there and know what they are talking about, not the fairy tale land comments from want to be's. To those people I say keep dreaming, because it takes wisdom, skill and hard work.

I DOUBT A CAP - FILLED NOTE WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION WHEN HUNDREDS OF EXPERIENCED COMMENTER HAVEN'T MADE AN IMPACT BUT. I sent a link of this video to a 3rd generation -axeman- who was so upset with your need to portray a Zen-like felling operation that he, a hard-bitten timber cutter REFUSED to watch the entire episode because he was positive this was a -snuff film- where people died.
He referred to you as -Lambs in the timber- and BEGGED ME to try and contact you with his concerns; an amazing response from a guy who did nothing but handle and identify dead soldiers during 2 tours in Vietnam. He is just learning about You Tube but said you were not only going to cripple yourselves on YT but kill a bunch of -hippies with a chainsaw- who were going to take your videos as Gospel reasonable timber work.
My father lost 2 good logger friends to -kick backs- from huge, mature hardwoods so you guys standing mere feet away from 60 foot tall springy trees are begging to lose your face to a 150 MPH kicked back tree butt. You guys are a WHEN, not an IF unless you either get educated and better equipped or go find a logger with all his fingers and most of his teeth to show you how to live to be his age. I bet forty bucks and a case of Busch beer to a forest-hardened logger will buy you a lifetime education in an afternoon! Please don't let your Millenial feeling of studied superiority turn you into buff corpses or pathetic cripples.

I'm not bothering to watch after this. I was watching a video of you guys at your tropical paradise. one you really don't work to pay for. Donations, promoting gadgets, lawnmowers, solar panels, etc. Then you actually ask the ordinary people for $$$. Wow. Why would I want to give you my money so i can keep watching you guys swimming with turtles, playing in your river. yea, life's good when you don't have to pay. I saw Jake flip his Sog knife open. ca ching.
Push those expensive solar panels. why wouldn't everyone invest. well Jake, most regular folks trying to live off grid don't have thousands of $$$ to invest.

How did you get your new looking white van to your remote land. That you lead people to believe is only accessible by boat? You know, when you go out in freezing weather with hail. Man I just can't believe you guys sold this place to be near people. I know different strokes for different folks. I love how the human race loves to impress their neighbors with expensive clothes, cars, boats, jewlery and our neighbors can't wait till we die so they can take it! Cool this cat it's not unhappy that one. Sacred work these trees as Michael Rath says, should wear a helmet approved for your cutting maneuvers. Plus have a good clearance in front either, if the tree by not it has to go. The accident is sometimes in the routine of cutting Sympa these algae for compost, you have what it takes around Jakes.

Two suggestions - a Husgvarna 357/359 saw (higher torque and light enough, and a Harbor Freight chain sharpener (also cuts dogs on chain so you only go as deep as you need for efficient cutting. too deep and it bogs down the saw, for future projects and less time doin' 'em.

Making boards two by fours etc. you should give serious thought to wearing masks much like we've done with the pandemic. Getting sawdust into your lungs is never a good idea. I want you to be around for a long time to come.
