With the title of this video, Jake and Nicolle have finally come out of the closet regarding the true nature of this show. It isn't really about living off the grid and surviving in the wild. If that were the case they would have about a tenth of their current views. This is really another reality show that capitalizes on really attractive young people with great bodies, showing a lot of skin. It's not lost on anyone (especially their fans) that each episode has a -money shot- of one or both of them sans shirt and /or pants. It was a great marketing concept. the thing about living off the grid gave people a cover for watching. kind of like back in the day when the Playboy interviews gave millions of horny young men cover for subscribing to that magazine. -Oh mom, I just get it for the interviews. I never even look at the pictures. It has a centerfold? Who knew? - So, I just watch to find out how to build a Yurt. Really? Most of us don't even know what the hell that is.

I just started watching your video-s and am really enjoying them. One thing I noticed is that when you are in your inflatable boat I seldom see anyone wearing a life jacket? Things happen quickly on the water and it would be a shame to see something happen to one or both of you especially now that you are both parents. Not wanting to be a nag but drowning deaths are almost always avoidable. Cheers!

Anything that smokes would help to reduce the mosquitos. You might try some various incense sticks around the camp to drive them away. In Florida, products such as Avon Skin So Soft have been used for years as a proven mosquito repellant. I can testify that this stuff works to repel pesky flying insects.
