Ok, frequently I will be able to hold a decent conversation with a teenager(Im 23, and often I will tell that teen that they are so mature for it(to build them up and encourage them not to act like an idiot-i. e. if you think of yourself as mature for your age you are more likely to act like it. But mature enough to hold a conversation with an adult or any person 5 years older does not mean you are mature enough to have a relationship with that person. Obviously I mean 13 cant drive yet, no clue about taxes, cant hold a full time job, cant buy cigarettes or serve alcohol to adults, cant run a carnival ride even for babies, most of them are complaining about homework and chores and havent reached an age where they can even see the worth of learning, cant cook on their own- god, and if youre an 18 year old cute girl why are you dating some little boy anyway? Like Id rather her date a man 5 years older than a boy 5 years younger. At least an older man can drive around, pick you up for a date, and maybe even live by himself.

No one can know Google's political agenda of their algorithm until Trump can make one statement that is completely factually accurate, grammatically correct, contains no emotional or opinionated accusations that can not be proved and is purely and simply a statement on his plan and his politics on a single matter without any unnecessary flowery abusive language or him confusing himself. When he can be eloquent and articulate, THEN we can see how the news of the world reports on a press release and what gets prioritised. Unfortunately, calling out every time that the president highlights a low IQ or a parrot attitude he only just heard and doesn't actually understand or he pulls out a playground insult. the news will focus on that and true political intention of publications are unclear. Trump needs to clean up his act, lock up his phone and give the key to a aggressive animal he wouldn't pick a fight with, and work on his speech writing, communication skills and policy negotiation, give and take to mop up his mess.

The 13 year old boy's mother says he's always acted mature for his age? What does that even mean? At six years old had he already decided that The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were overly simplistic in their representation of personality types? By ten was he into Beethoven? Really? Doesn't matter, he's still 13. No matter how you've decided to view your child, that doesn't actually make any of this ok. Hell, at 13 I thought I was so grown up in so many ways, but guess what? I was an idiot, and thank goodness I had good people around me to help guide me until I realised I was nowhere near as mature as I thought I was. Parents should be there to protect their kids from this kind of stuff, not encourage and justify it. Even if he is mature for his age, that should mean he's reading books above his grade level or has a developed sense of self or responsibility, not that he should be having a relationship with an 18 year old model over a publicised social media forum.

The thing about what count Dankula did is more enviromental context. In America we had a lot of traumatize veteran who were maybe as young as 18 when they come back (In majority not but let's talk about the youngest or something) who came back in '45. Those veteran are now around 90, they are not as present as society and that fades to history rather than actual memory ingraved in living survivors, like in europe. My grandmother remembers running under the bombs, very young, to fing a food cargo that was airdroped nearby. She remembers the omas of her youth dying while reconstructing the village destroyed by the war. My mom talks about it. about how lucky they were that my great-grandma didn't get caught burning our jewish papers. Now apply that to UK, for the judge, it's not ancient history, it's something they had to deal with th long term consequences. Then somebody throws around slurs and threats about jews to get back at a girlfriend? Are you kidding me.

The obvious double standard aside, the fact that there are no consensus regarding age of consent on different States & Countries should tell you something about this issue. To me, once the body has reached puberty, they are ready so to speak. Brain developments etc are all men made social standard and can change at any point in time. I'm totally fine if say the authority wanted to restrict certain things at certain age or so and everything, but don't half-ass on it. Prohibit any sorts of human interaction, relationship, to the youngsters until they reach the age of consent. They should put a some form barrier/restriction on how they should interact, that mean no dating, no unnecessary talking/communication etc. These below the age of consent type of relationship is bound to happen if you don't have a restriction in a society. They already have the hormone for it. They should be teach on how to have a self-control on certain things.

As someone who is also in a pedo-like relationship, I can say that It's not all that bad. For anyone wondering, I'm 13. My girlfriend is 18 and we have a happy relationship. I know what I'm doing. I know that I could very easily be abused, or worse. I understand that things like this are considered bad by everyone else. The thing is, I don't care. It's my choice and I'm happy with her. But, no, I do not think that pedo relationships should be legal. Too many kids would be molested. I don't want our relationship to ever become legal. Don't respond to me if you're just going to tell me to stop being dumb and break up with her. Respond to me if you have honest questions.

The reason these age restrictions are put into place is based off of biological and not social processes. Your prefrontal cortex (the thinking part of your brain) isnt fully developed until at least your mid 20's and you hypothalmus (your instinctual and fun seeking part of your brain) strongly takes charge of your brain until your prefrontal cortex can take charge. These laws cant be ignored because someone acts mature or has had many experiences. what's holding them back is biology which cant be sped up.

Me and my boyfriend have almost an 8 year age difference. Im 18 and hell be 26 in about four months. Yes we definitely get some reactions to us being together but at least my relationship is legal. 18 and 13 isnt okay. When I was talking to someone before my current relationship who was 15, it was still not really okay. It was also not legal if it got to the point of intimacy. Which is why when I found out his age (because yes he actually did look like some of my senior friends and looked like he was at least 17) I cut it off. He did try again but it wasnt something I was comfortable with.

Your personal opinion is 100% you're right that she shouldn't be doing this hes 13 his mind and his body isn't fully devoloped he shouldn't be in a relationship at all i wasnt in a relationship at that age but most of my friends who were, said to me they wouldnt count that as a real relationship, also hearing the mother supporting this is just wrong she shouldn't be doing that Even though the age of concent in the UK is 16 I still think that even if she was 16 and he was still 13 it would still be wrong nothing changes hes still devolping no matter what.
