Giving Up On YouTube, WWE Body Shaming Controversy, Gabbie Hanna, & Horrible Parents Exposed Weird A: I don't think there was any intention to have a cake for a transition, it was probably a smear campaign or to worsen the reputation the cake shop already has from not making a cake for a gay wedding. But I don't see why that's bad. It's his shop, it's his cakes, and it's his business. It's his decision who to serve and who to say, 'no, ' to. If he doesn't want to make a cake for a gay wedding then fine, go look elsewhere for a bakery that will make a cake for the gay wedding. If he doesn't want to make cakes for transitions from male to female, or female to male, then go look for someone else who does. Bakeries aren't in short supply anywhere so I don't see why this ONE bakery is an issue. It's his decision in the long run and at the end of it he's losing potential customers. What really annoys me is the parents bullying a child. These are parents who have children of their own planning on physical harm, mutilation, and murder. Because a child wants to be a girl. I won't sit here and say I'm fine with that, I'm not. I strongly believe you should wait until you're 18 years old before making that kind of decision just in case you start regretting - there's no going back as far as I am aware. But while I hate the idea of a child doing this I abhor the reactions of the parents. Especially since they're using Religion as both a sword and shield against this young individual. I don't have a child, I don't have a motherly-bond, so I don't know how the mother of the intended victim feels. But you have to be a sick minded person to look at a child and start bullying them, inciting violence against them - and straight up mentioning HUNTING? Get child protective services on the phone and get their children away from them because they CLEARLY do not have the right mind to be parents. I just hope that all of those parents get what's coming to them. Jail time, fines, child services taking their children from them, anything. Because that behaviour shouldn't be allowed or condoned. But I just had a thought - that's a page for a school. Surely the teachers knew about the page or were even part of it? Because if they were. Maybe the parents aren't only to blame?

WWE Story: Utter nonsense. He subjectively stated that he finds her more attractive after a change to her lifestyle and appearance than he did before. That is not discrimination or objectification but a person stating their personal preference. You can't tell people to lose weight or treat them worse because they are overweight but it is insane that you now need to claim you consider everyone equally attractive in order to not suffer backlash. Cake Baker: A bar with a sign saying we don't serve gays would suffer full legal consequences, yet he didn't because your religious beliefs will be respected now suddenly means oh by the way, you can also use those beliefs to circumvent laws that the rest of society needs to abide by. Just based on his actions his case is essentially the same as the bar-example with the only difference being that he wastes his customers time by first having them enter and then telling them they won't be served. Guy should have expected that if you dodge legal consequences based on a technicality but then continue to do what got you in trouble in the first place people are gonna try and get you again. School Story: Those parents are obviously disgusting filth and those adults openly asking for violence and murder when talking about a little kid should be sued for damages (a kid going through school not knowing if people want to beat it to a pulp because their parents told them to could certainly be considered emotional and psychological damage) and have to at least work community service just as a reminder that advocacy of crime is not protected by the first amendment as it is already considered a criminal attempt.

The cake baker is being attacked. he never refused to serve a gay or trans PERSON. said he didnt want to custom make a wedding cake because of religious views. now everyone and their donkey is calling that man to ask for cakes celebrating Satan. transgender transitions, black Satan dildos. how about all the other religious bakers that refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding on religious reasons. are they allowed to because THEIR religion isnt Christianity? Singers choose where they sing, painters paint what they want to paint. you CANT force them. fashion designers design what they want. choose what projects they want to be a part of. I dont see why someone wanting a specific custom cake for a specific event has the right to demand a baker make it. regardless of if he wants to. again it isnt service that is in question. he SERVES anyone. he wont use his skills to custom make a cake celebrating something he doesnt want to be a part of because of his religious views. keep in mind I would bake the cake. personally but Im getting confused about who has to follow these new rules and how they are fair based on the USA principle of freedom of religion?

The fact that people who have lived in the shadows for acts that have been know as wrong for centuries, are now bullying people to believe shit that they can't even explain properly. Hope that guy gets compensated well for the vandal work done to his business. For the Transgender case I don't consider transgender people human beings because no matter how hard you try your never going to be a woman because you cant make a child, your body structure does not look like a female, some of you your face just screams man. What i think of the story of the parent group being private, I say this is them venting their disgust for trans related issues. If actual messages were sent to the girl or her parents then i would consider this a concerning matter. I would love to see these people that bully christians take a visit to a Muslim country and advertise their belief its gonna be some great news. America has fallen and it cant get up. Hope that hurricane kills some of you sick bastards whose only purpose in life is to ruin others, may the good contributing members of society survive.

At what point as a human being do you lose your ur apathy for others that calling open hunting season on a CHILD seems appropriate? Thank you for not blurring the names of the parents saying those disgusting things because I truly hope their friends and family see those and tell them how awful they truly are. Personally I believe that if its so easy for a person to joke about mutilating and killing a child that they have no place in society, and if I employed any of those parents, theyd be fired in a heartbeat because if they joke so openly about hurting a 12 year old, how can I trust my other employees and/or customers would be safe around them? I sometimes have to remind myself the unforgiving truth of how awful other humans can be, and this was a wake up call to be a better advocate for queer kids everywhere because we cannot always let it be up to the other adults in their life to be positive (and safe) role models.

also, on the wwe front, women have fought SO FRICKEN HARD to be recognized on an actually athletic level. something beyond just their bodies and pillow fights. it also came on the heels of renee young become the first every women to sit sit and do the live broadcast. they announced an all women ppv. just in the last few years, like less that 5, women have been recognized as superstars, not just divas. they have women of all shapes and sizes out there giving their all every single night, and its so disgusting to read the comments on how these women are treated. and whole big names in wrestling have come out and openly voice how bad ass the women are in wwe, theres still a huge stigma around it because of how women were treated in wwe, and someone on his platform need to recognize what women have done in the last 5-10 years, and what theyve done to grow the company.

Political stories are not really productive in today's society or online social networks. It contributes more to outrage, division, anger and hatred. Speaking from experience, a majority of people get offended, outraged or disillusioned by a story even if that's not the intent. Some political stories are better put in separate content or separate from actual important NEWS. 2 of the stories you discussed deal with complex, sensative and issues dealing with 3% of the population, this doesn't deminish the importance, but does spotlights a divisional story with human bias. Similar stories can only divide people and it seems these stories are tactically used by SOME to do so. If new media is to not fail at being just like old media you must realize these issues, that is all. Ask yourself what is your real purpose for sharing a story

Im from southern Oklahoma. About 30 minutes from Achille. I am disgusted and outraged that 2 of the people commenting made the screenshot posts on here. Im disgusted that I know personally know people that think the way that these people think. All of these people have children The good people in and around that community rallied together and held a small silent protest at the school to support this child and it was heartwarming. To my knowledge, the child and her mother will be moving somewhere else. Cant say that I blame them because the safety of the child and her family are top priority here. The childs mothers parenting was also being scrutinized. This was an absolutely horrible and disheartening situation for our area of the state.

I think Dave Meltzer is not the wrong. I feel a man is allowed to make comments on how he liked someone better or worse before, as the same for girls. I guarantee if I looked online for podcasts with just girls, that I would find many of them talking about how a certain guy looks better with or without certain things, but nobody says anything because its more acceptable for a girl to talk about guys being better a certain way. Its a double standard that has plagued men and women for a while. If we want to solve the issue of equality we need to start by solving the small things and identifying them as double standards instead of only protecting women and less men.

Is that guy the only baker there or what? By now everyone should be aware he doesn't want to make said cakes. What I say to that is so what. Just take your hard earned money to a baker who will sever you the way you should be served, and what happened to we reserve the right to refuse service statement go? To flip the scrip here just imagine a Klan member going into an African American's bakery and asking for a cake to celebrate his rise to grand whatever it's called, and the baker refuses to make said cake. Who is the bad guy now? To end all this ramble go to a bakery that is happy to have you as a customer, and who will treat you with respect.
