WOW PewDiePie's Last Stand Surprise Twist, Egypt Battles Evil, & Why France's Fuel Protest Matters Matthieu Picard: As a frenchman, I'm personally against both the tax and the protests. - The tax wasn't introduced to fight climate change. Fuel demand isn't affected by taxes much, if at all, much like cigarettes. The government obviously knows that, it's economics 101. Their motivation for intruducing this tax is pure financial gain, nothing more. They know fuel use isn't going to be affected in the end. Fuel use will only go down when there will be proper alternatives, both for industries and individuals. (On that note: we do not have a reliable public transporation system)- The protests are, again, mostly affecting the most vulnerable parts of the french population. Charity winter food drives have been impaired by road blocks, small businesses are suffering either from property damage or lack of fuel / road blocks, and working class or vulnerable individuals are penalized by the lack of fuel. Good luck getting to work when only one gas station in the city managed to get some fuel supplies through the road blocks, and virtually everyone is as starved for fuel as you are. Ironically, both the government and the protests are effectively working towards making the poor poorer. The government most likely knows what it's doing, but protesters really need to open their eyes to who they are affecting with their actions. For people who work in fuel-reliant industries, it feels very much like being dragged into a fight we didn't choose. We're paralyzed by road blocks, and create more shortages whether we like it or not. There had to be a better way to protest. As far as I'm concerned, the protests are an everyday nuisance and a threat to my personal financial stability. Not the best way to gain political allies.

I don't live in France but dissatisfaction with the rise of living costs is something South Africans are well acquainted with. This year alone we've seen a rise in the price of fuel 8 or 9 times as well as a 1% increase in value added tax. In the coming year there are people who will have their land taken away from them by the government due to land expropriation without compensation worsened by the general unrest caused by political parties calling for blood to be spilled. South Africa is a third world country and is generally not on the radar but to the people living there it's a pretty big deal even if it doesn't get much exposition. I completely understand the unrest France is currently experiencing. I understand it because it happens here everyday.

you gotta understand that Egypt is a Muslim country. wich means over 99. 9% of Egyptians are Muslim. and being seen half naked is a sin. not a normal dress. u see it normal because you are from different culture. so when actors and singers do stuff that go against the whole country believes the court have no choice but to do something about it. if if she didn't get a proper punishment the people of egypt will get angry at there government as they want a muslim government not a feminist one. but i blame the egypt government too for having harsh punishment for minor things like that.

It's so funny that only Rania got this much attention when other skinnier actresses wore similar dress styles, like salma abu deif for exmaple, and got no hate and no one talk about it. I think this is just because Rania got memed a lot in egyptian reddits, forums, facebook & twitter and the attention from those memes lead to all that happening. However, people really could care less, since girls in Egypt wear revealing clothes all the time in higher class areas.

All the more reason why we don't want people from Muslim Countries. Let's see what these so called Feminists in USA has to say about that. Where's Women's March? These third world people will Change the way Our beautiful women in US enjoy freedom. Look what happened in Cologne, Germany. Trump's Muslim Ban looks so reasonable Now doesn't it? Oh, and btw Ocasio Cortez wants Carbon Tax in the US just like France. Good luck with that Looney Goofbag.

My opinion is that if another culture does things you dont agree with that is fine. You can share your opinion. But youre not free to take action to change their culture. That is just some narcissistic arrogance. Acting like the opinions and morals of you and your culture are superior and should be adopted by all. Imho the whoring that is getting more and more popular should be ground to a halt. Even if it means prosecuting all those women.

I think it's just a bit sad that someone who has worked his way up from nothing will be defeated by a company that comes from outside the platform. It almost feels a bit like old YouTube v. what YouTube is becoming, and even the people that don't really care for Felix's content will root for him because they're seeing talk shows in the featured section when it used to be home videos and weird, creative stuff made by people like them.

Phillip you come from a broken family, please don't judge Egypt and learn to accept that not all country's are cool with what is normal in america otherwise everyone will end up getting more messed up and more broken family's, example Africans say they are kings well not if they African American, most white people really don't have culture anymore just broken family's, fix your people before judging other people's culture.

It really sucks that western feminism has essentially become a weapon in which to silence each other. Its so clear that other woman around the world need feminism and dont have access to it. and this first story serves as a comparison for how far western feminism has come and I think its our responsibility to at least try to help. Tbh I really dont know how to help, but maybe we start by just talking about it.

You didnt show the full story for the Egypt one, shes worn a very showy dress in the past and her but was almost all shown, if you see the black dress from the back its as if she is wearing swimwear with a transparent layer over, so get your facts straight or dont talk about it at all. The fact that she will face 5 years isnt true well the charges have been dropped.
