The idea that someone shouldn't run for President because it would hurt our party is so insane and infuriating to me. I don't give two shits about the party. Everyone who would be a good President should run, and the public should vote for the person that would most represent them, and their interests. The democrats, are spiteful, power hungry assholes. A good candidate will draw voters, period. It doesn't harm one party over another. That mentality is a BIG part of what the public is so sick of, and one of the things that helped the Donald to win in the first place. If they keep treating public service like a power game, they will continue to lose. People are sick of this shit. Frankly, I don't think anyone who's honest should run as a democrat in the first place, given what they did to Bernie. I'm sure the conservatives have their own problems with corruption, but that was so blatant, and they were 100% unapologetic, and still are. I'm way more liberal, than conservative, but the Democrats have just proven themselves evil.

All polls and almost all commentators said said Trump would never win and would just split the republican vote and some independents ensuring Hillary would win. They can say whatever they like recent history has shown us they clearly dont know and acting on the assumption they do is detrimental to their success. If they want to win they need to step up their game, especially with online and social media political advertising not just celebrity support. Its also important to acknowledge and address the political disenfranchisement that lead to Trumps election in first place, which includes people being fed up with a two party system that generally means who ever panders the most to campaign contributors and works for them so they have money to get re elected wins #lessonsFromTheLastElection

It's actually insane how much importance we give to religion as a society. Some act like criticising someones religion is worse than being racist. The reason that even non-violent racism is so heinous is due to the fact people have no control over what race they are. You do however have a choice what you choose to believe and think, and everyone else has a right to criticise you on this, especially if it's ridiculous made up stories. Let's be honest if it wasn't for the biggest criminal scammers in the world(religions) brainwashing the weak minded, people would be thrown in mental asylums for believing these things.

I remember I carried around a drawing of my 'first' tattoo with me for a month, looking at it daily to make sure that's what I wanted on my body forever. So the day comes, and my friend sketched the tattoo on my arm in pen, and was going to ink me with a homemade gun (that used an R/C motor. I literally looked at how horrible the sketch was on my arm, and was like hell no But then. I decided to let him freehand the name Connie on my other arm. I mean since we had already made the gun. Needless to say, he screwed up and didn't write the n's correctly. and now 20+ years later, I still have Comie tattooed on my arm LMBO

You act like it's definitely climate change, then show a climate scientist who says they don't know if its even related to climate change and even NOAA even said it may be related but they don't know. Look, 97-3 is a logical fallacy called argument from authority. 99% of scientist agree, 91% of climatologists agree, 97% of active climatologist and meteorologists agree. The entire reason it's even phrased like that is for the sake of that logical fallacy. I think climate change is real, but like all good scientists, consensus doesn't make things true and I reserve the right to be wrong.

I think we have a serious need to break from the two-party system that we have in the US. The 2016 election should've highlighted that wonderfully for most people. Apparently not, however, since everyone is still shouting, hur dur vote Democrat. In that case, I kinda hope Trump gets elected again, if only it would help them learn. I will vote Dem if I believe in their candidate. I would've voted for Bernie in 2016, but I voted 3rd party since that wasn't an option. I think it's extremely important that we get more parties on the ballot and also dismantle the electoral college.

I voted 3rd party in 2016 just so I would be able to live with myself and sleep better at night. That said, the only time a 3rd party has won the presidency in all of American history was when Abe Lincoln won and the Republicans, who were previously a 3rd party, usurp a previous party to become one of the 2 major parties in our two part system. So while not impossible, the odds aren't in favor of 3rd party candidate winning the election. Then again nearly every analysis was saying there was no way for Donald Trump to win the 2016 election, and we all know how that turned out.

My problem is why and how does this information to send up a huge red flag on how broken our political system is that somebody can try to run independant and have a verified 0% chance of winning. I've always thought we needed what this starbucks guy is talking about. I can't believe he's being fought this hard for just trying to do something different for people who don't agree with either party. Our current political system is representative of about 20% of this population across the board i believe. I hope some of these electoral collage problems are resolved soon.

shultz will definitely re-elect trump at this rate. We as a country cannot afford to vote independent because how bi-partisan our country is at this time. Now more than ever with trump. It's unfortunate to say but even Republicans that do not want trump to be re-elected should vote against him in whoever the hell it is that will be the democrat nominee. Just this one election at the least. At this point anyone is better than trump he is hurting America in more ways than one and he refuses to serve the people and only his own self image and ego
