Whats interesting about this idea of social media cleansing is that it really places a lot of judgement on people who rely on social media in order to have any social interaction. Like consider those who are living in a remote area where they are facing difficult real life issues. In my head Im thinking kids who are the first gay or transgendered kid in their school with no nearby support. The internet is an amazing lifesaver for people who might see their real life and believe that no one can ever support and love them for who they are. Or think about people who are facing life threatening conditions or conditions that keep them home like reduced mobility, sensory changes (like sudden or progressive deafness or blindness) or intense depression and anxiety. Telling them to unplug is unplugging their support system and their connection to the larger world. Sure; social media can be a vapid place. But isnt that the fault of the users not of the platforms? Im just hesitant to say that disconnecting is the best option for everyone because I think we forget what a positive force social media can be too.

It's pretty indicative of the all-encompassing media slant that you talked about some idiotic thing that the president said and neglected to even mention the absolute bust that was the witch hunt the left just spent 2 years conducting. Democrats just spent longer than we spent in WWI trying to destabilize the rule of a sitting president. In a greater amount of time than our country once worked to stabilize all of europe, bring down both the ottoman and romanov dynasties, sign 3 major peace treaties, support 6 more global peace treaties, and help several oppressed nations to gain or regain their independence. half of our country (now with all of the knowledge in the world at their fingertips- which would have been considered the power of gods in WWI) just poured themselves entirely into delegitimizing our president and produced absolutely nothing. That is worth recognition.

I'm just now catching up on the past week's worth of videos, and I am VERY happy that you are once again speaking about global climate change. I've been a long time advocate for environmental protection and preservation, so it pains me that it's STILL being denied, despite climate-change-fueled natural disasters. It has been briefly mentioned in previous videos, but I think we could all use reminders and pushes for action, now more than ever. Would it be worth occasionally mentioning the recycling program implemented in parts of Europe, where you must pay to trash, and recycling is free? I feel like there aren't enough platforms circulating this kind of idea to those who need to hear it most (i. e. the ones who can take action and lobby. Where I think that last one is unlikely but who knows money brings about conspiracy or illusion especially to the sleep. It's not just here We got the whole situation in the Middle East where that reporter got chopped up we got Korea and the boy bands Don't get me started on Russia. Money/ power & the love of it root of all evil scrip even said our rules, kings, politicians are/can be all bought & paid for.

Philip; just rewatched a bit of 'hot ones' featuring you. It shows your body from the side and, maybe you've since lost weight, but if not; please go eat healthier/ exercise more. You're fat. You'll have a higher risk of dying earlier and thus we (I) will lose you too early (a lot of people will miss you. I want to keep watching you each week. Again; you're fat. Maybe not by your country's standards, but you are simply an overweight human. You can lose weight and become healthy. You just have got to start working out (gym/ jogging/ cycling/ etc < each day 1-1. 5 hours intensively, and learn about healthy food and stop eating bad shit. Anyway love you

The climate has been changing since the beginning of time. They say humans are speeding it up but its better for the planet if we kill ourselves off with it. species come and go and the world will still be here when we're gone, the cycle of life will continue. This whole thing is just filling the pockets of governments and industries so the few can live above the rest for their short time here. The future is meaningless when your gone so enjoy the life you have now and don't worry about the struggles of the future generations cause they will have to learn to adapt or die and that is fine by me.

Climate Change, Educated. Nope don't let a 12 year old talk about real issues unless then can dive into real peer reviewed science. Review the ice core data (nothing outside normal temps as per 800k years data (also correlates with position of sun/earth) what everyone should be worried about is the amount of CO2 in the air which correlates to global cooling, we may be causing the next global ice age and the only thing that can change that is the world has to stop almost all animal husbandry, good luck with that. Pessimistic because we are & have been devide even among our own groups & a house devide can't stand so we become weaker as a country & people so we're going to become less important. The with gap that's part of the problem & we can fix that problem devide but they know that. There corruption effects ever are of our lives from the government all the way down to the air we breathe. The only hope I see is those kids (2: 16) who actually could do what us grown ups could & Unite with a/for purpose & one actually worth fighting for

So the overall majorities think the country will be more divided and the rich will get richer and have no rerirement and social security money, yet republicans will still vote for the same people who help the rich get richer and screw over thier future retirement money. Yeah, cuz that makes sense. Also gotta love those two other stats that show how well the fear mongering of right wing media has done about impending terror attacks at any moment. Also, i wonder what was in thier minds when they were thinking about american culture.
