That's agony to hear you go to the EU after farage for an opinion on Johnson. We want to get away from them AND this level of association. From the way you talk about the EU, I can see that you think it is a nation like entity but don't fall for it. It's were politcians go after they get rejected by their own electorate, but will still be able to make laws I will have to live under, but with no accountability. The heads of the EU are effectively appointed. Merkels disastrous defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen for example, stood unopposed for the head of the commission. Yes that's the secret body that we get to see nothing of, other than them walking down corridor's, not being elected by me in any way, and completely untouchable whilst she passes whatever laws she likes without any real checks and balances. Oh and don't forget about the monster paycheck/pension package everyone gets as a basic. Oohh oohh and they have unlimited expenses which aren't audited. Unless you're name is Nigel Farage in which case only you're expenses will be audited and scrutinised ridiculously out of thousands of people. Why do people not have an issue with this monster of an institution.

Boris is not good news, but I'd stop short of saying he's the British Trump. Trump is reviled by the entirety of Britain excepting one or two court jesters, whereas Boris has some fans. Boris is not Trump's friend either, having published some pretty derogatory remarks about him when he made those ridiculous 'no-go zone' comments about London in the election. I would say that he's a different kind of slimy operator, and somebody with the morals of a forgetful great white shark. I don't want a serial cheater leading the country, I want someone whose compass isn't beyond repair. That said, his cabinet, whilst repulsive in a lot of ways, really do want Brexit to happen and will stop at nothing to get it done. This is in sharp contrast to the previous government that didn't want to leave at all, so at least we'll maybe see something, anything, dear God anything at this point, happen on that front. It's ironic that perhaps the least democratically elected government in modern memory will probably claim that they are defending British democracy in pushing no-deal through, but hey-ho, there we are. I'm up for leaving so idc.

the conservative party's complete refusal to have another referendum concerning brexit is childish and disturbing. a lot of lies were told during the brexit campaign and a lot of people here who did vote to leave or who didn't vote have seent the chaos this has caused and have simply changed their minds. there are so many pressing issues that need discussing such as knife crime and climate change and yet parliament are having the same argument every day. their excuse for not having another referendum is that 'it's not democratic' because the original vote was in favour of brexit (by only 4%) which makes absolutely no sense when so many people are begging for another chance to vote. it's an excuse to hide their childish stubbornness and xenophobia. nobody here has any idea what the hell is going on and we're all, quite frankly, scared and we have no trust that the government has any more of an idea of what's going on than us. this needs to end and boris is not fit to end it, he's extremely stubborn and xenophobic and can't see past his own narrow-minded views.

April is the very type of woman that justifies people questioning every legitimate claim of any wrong doing that happens. Her lies have done more harm to the women she allegedly is trying to protect, than any action someone may do against them, because now, everyone will remember back to Aprils claim & go well. that April chick said this and it was a lie, why should we believe you. Andy came with acknowledgement he made some decisions that were not wise, and even direspectfully to some. Then follows it up by saying he didnt do this however by showing his proof. I am inclined to believe Andy on what he said. He COULD have taken a see, April lied, so who is to say the rest didnt as well stance, and muddy the waters of others complaints. But he didnt. He took on the 1 claim he knew he could defend, and did so, while owning up to others.

I love animals. I am 45 and still feel depressed every time I see a dead opossum on the side of the road. But can we grow up a bit here, please? Dropping a house cat from 4-5 feet is not abuse. They are cats - they jump out of trees. You know why we have that old cliche about cats always landing on their feet? Because they do. They also enjoy standing on keyboards, or sticking their butts in your face if you are reading just to antagonize their owners. If you abuse an animal, especially a cat, it does not come running back for more abuse. I would bet all the money that cat was unperturbed by that and was back flashing her butt on the keyboard within three mins. Do I support animal abuse? Hell no. But this is non-sense. As for Andy Signore - this is why we have innocent until proven guilty in this country.

Hey UK person here The news re: the new PM has, indeed, been largely polarising. However, this doesn't change a lot of the wider situation. The same party has a majority. The same problems exist. The only difference is that we now have a leader who was elected by such a small portion of the population, that we are now in a position where I have no real confidence in our political future, or the efficacy of the democracy that we are using. It's highly interesting and a little bit depressing, as we've had little say over any of these proceedings, or the shape that they should take as we approach the deadline. But, at the same time, elections and referenda have been too decisive to be decisive. As I say, it'll be interesting. But also worrying.

I'm living in Dublin, Ireland and I really don't know what to think. Considering the harsh history we have with England it terrifies me how some of these politicians disregard the backstop, honestly at least with May I knew there wasn't going to be an issue, there was no way we'd have a border. But Boris Johnson is a buffoon, always has been, and his radicalism will bring no good, i'm sure of that. We have just been left floating in silence here too, no real communication between the government and the people in regards to Brexit, up until the recent election where there is sudden panic, so that doesn't feel too good. I gotta just enjoy this limbo i'm in until I see what happens in October.

The Good Friday agreement is one of the only things keeping some what of peace between nationalist and unionists. Leo Varadkar ( the Taoiseach/ prime minister) refuses to allow a boarded between the North and the Republic. The North has had no government for the past 3 years and adding a boarder will add more tension between the unionists and nationalist.

Being inappropriate with and hitting on fans is/was scummy and he needed to be corrected in that behavior. being accused of rape falsely from the evidence provided and none is given to refute it that ruined his name, career, marriage, (admittedly cheating didn't help that one, etc. Being a Creep doesn't = RAPE and shouldn't hold the same life-ruining consequences. Taking a class on appropriate workplace behavior and/or counseling/therapy are literally methods of correcting inappropriate behavior and are the FIRST STEPS TAKEN in that situation not trying to ruin a life. Also, if this is true this hurts those who do have legitimate rape claimes
