WOAH Fake Crime EXPOSED, Lilly Singh Backlash, Carson King Reporter Fired, Tom Holland & More Tails Clock: are fake allegations the minority though? It feels like the only newsworthy hate crimes have all been fake. The most horrible ones are lies. It's. kind of nice really, to know that these stories that sound too horrible to be true always end up being not true. Racism isn't gone, but we'll never hear another story about a girl having her dreads cut off (In the west. Not today, not in this age. We're past these kinds of crimes. We're not racist enough for these stories to hold up. This feels like progress in a way. Or maybe I am just concerningly optomistic that I can turn a fake hate crime into a positive thing. Also that ad was terrifying. I can't even remember what it was an ad for. Nightmares? Also turbans look like bath towels. It's a square sheet of cloth wrapped around the head. This isn't offensive, it's reality. If they can't get over that, they will be offended until they die. Prejudice washes out, truth stains. Lilly is really doing so badly though. Relying on racist jokes that she wont apologise for, and then making another and now she's sorry. Because white men aren't a group she fears. But turban wearers? Get in the shelter Lilly Apologise whilst you still can Really shows what her true feelings are. She doesn't view the two groups as equal when she treats them in opposite ways. That's how you spot someone that's actually prejudiced.

About the Lily Singh stuff, I have had a problem with her content for a long time. I know she's trying to do what she believes is best, but I think she fails to realize something a lot of entertainers have also failed to realize nowadays. To take something we're used to that's harmful and turn it on its head by doing the same thing but towards the people who perpetrated it, it doesn't solve anyone's problem. It just adds more fuel in another fire. Making offensive jokes about white men won't do anything to better help women of colour. Making offensive jokes about straight people won't improve the lives of gay people. It only does the same harm the other way around. Now personally, I don't give a shit about any of it. I would not be offended if you made fun of white men as long as you were comfortable with them doing it the other way around. But, if you're not, you're by definition a hypocrite. The history matters, but they've ignored that it's making a worse situation now to so heavily tread in the other direction. When people stop giving a shit about offensive content in both directions, that is when we will reach true peace and equality in my opinion.

As a journalism student you are taught how to properly research a prospective story. I can tell you from experience you are supposed to be objective and state the facts as they pertain to he story and the subject. Had the reporter found Carson was a closet Nazi or klan member that would directly impact the story. 10 year old teenager shenanigans has got nothing to do with a story if anything it should be praised as a young man who learned from his mistakes and sought to amend his mistake with a force for good. So no the Register isnt throwing him under a bus they fired this reporter for going out of his purview to try and Associate this person with negative representation in the media and it failed. Journalistic integrity and transparency is how we brought down Nixon big tobacco and is now more necessary than ever if we are going to try and make it through the fake news era of political divisive tactics

About Lily. I actually couldn't understand what she said? And that guy saying that she represents his minority. I don't think she's Muslim? I mean correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure she's Hindi. So she can't exactly empathize with a Muslim Community. I don't know I've loved her for years I'm going to be honest it's going to be pretty hard to make me mad about anything she says sense I have known her humor for years. Everyone gets mad about everything nowadays. People who aren't racist are called racists and actual racists are in the White House. So you know. I jist feel like we on the internet overreacts to literally everything and under reacts to true scandal. There is a difference between being carelessly insensitive and actively harmful. I'm more surprised nobody said anything about Jessica Alba saying they don't look cool in their turban twist.

I feel like lilly thinks that because shes brown she cant be racist at all when it is entirely wrong. Even white places have culture that needs respected (not america or england or that but some countries cultures deserve to be equally respected) and she does not belong to every race and religion so why does she act as if any act of criticism is racist or just because of her culture. I will never stoop to disrespecting her race or culture but she is NOT funny for gods sake. She is like Amy Schumer. Everyone can be disrespectful or racist regardless of gender, race, culture or whatever so she literally just needs to shut up lmao. (If any part of this offends you let me know and ill try fix it)

I'm not saying that college athletes don't deserve to get paid something, but man. we are completely devaluing the significance of a college education. I also think that this hurts parody in NCAA because now you can pay a kid to come to your school by promising them money through a 3rd party. It's already being done and now it will just be harder to keep an eye on. We're already giving full ride college athletes anywhere from 10-35k/year of free education. That seems like a sweet freaking deal.

Phil I love your show and watch it everyday. Please don't do the edit that your ad had this time around. One it was really weird, but two, you had the little girls picture as part of it still. I found it kind of odd and out of place and doesn't seem to line up with how your videos are normally done. I had to make an account on my phone just to say this, hah Otherwise, adore your content and how you approach and discuss topics. Thank you for always keeping me philled in

I also never found Lily Singh funny. But I think she is allowed to make a bad joke. Internet cancel culture is ridiculous. Some people will be mad no matter what joke someone tells. The media blows their numbers out of proportion. Most people get jokes. Thats why Dave Chapel has a nearly flawless audience rating on rotten tomatoes despite the abysmal critical review. A lot of jokes make fun of people. Everyone needs a sense of humor about themselves.

I am completely over it, this outrage nonsense needs to stop. Everyone is getting offended over everything, when she was trying make a friendly joke that had no malicious intent behind it. Like seriously people need to understand jokes in context and stop getting offended over every little thing. I deal with black, woman and gay jokes all the time and I am not the least offended because I know who is saying it and that they arent malicious about it.

The sad thing with this world is that while people tried to fight white nationalist's, it became racism to white people. Now you still have you're human trash white nationalist, but you also have a whole bunch more who are closet racists. They'll say things like You can't be racist to white people or you need power to be racist. No. You're just a racist. You're not only part of the problem, but you've made the problem worse.
