As a Georgian, there are other things to take into account with the schools. My son HAS to go back in person. We were going to do the virtual schooling because he is in the higher rick group because of asthma, but he is also in all honors classes (basically skipping a grade. Honors classes are only taught in person, because the county can't afford to put all of the classes online. So the choice is risking his health, or his future. It's a no win situation! The best we have to look at is that 60% of the kids in high school are doing the virtual learning, so the number of students at the high school is much lower than it would normally be. We can only hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and brace for what's coming.

I am a gun owner and I have always hated the NRA and the attitude of some of the people that follow them. A very obviously partisan organization hiding behind a fake non-profit spewing rehtorict that is holding our country back. If not for the NRA we could have a comprehensive set of common sense gun laws, the same laws that protect so many in other countries. But, our toxic culture around guns here in the US has been speaking through the NRA and lobbies in the interest, not of the people, but of corporate donors and politicians that care more about money and position than the good of our country.

its outragous that they wanna put the kids in jepurdy and then threaten to kick kids out of school if they dnt show up. here in the uk they are trying to do the same thing so i wont be sending my kids back to school. i will be taking them out of school to home school them so i know my child is safe. the law states that kids need an education, not that they must attend school. no one is gonna tell me how to care for my child or that i shopuld put my child in danger by sending them to a school that isn't safe.

as a gun owner i see the attempt to dissolve the nra as a blatant attempt to erode 2A rights and protections. for some reason liberals have decided that being anti gun is the hill they want to die on. if the issues with the nra were actually about corruption then the charges or lawsuit should have addressed them solely. an attempt to dissolve the organization is just another anti gun liberal move to divorce YOU from your right to defend yourself meaningfully and safely.

I am thankful that I live in a County that Requires masks to be wore back to school. But even if I didn't i would still show and teach my children how and when to wear a mask. Talk to them about hand washing and if you can't get to a sink to use hand Sanitizer. I have even talk to my children about getting them Lysol wipe so they can wipe down Their desk. If you are a Parent take your time and talk with your kids they do listen but you a have to be an Example

The whole take away 2A rights is textbook fear mongering. It also shows that the NRA has been seen like a government entity for 2A when it is not which should definitely end as its very concerning how ppl view the NRA. I think dissolving it would be the best and having smaller charities for the NRA is best. After all, it s not like guns themselves can be charity, so whatever the NRA focuses on as charity can be redirected to other organizations.

The same people who have a problem with kids going back to school - the same kids who have the least likely chance of obtaining and having symptoms of COVID-19 - don't seem to have a problem with the 'protests' that have thousands if not millions of people at a time in close proximity, masks or no masks.
Especially when they end in rioting - which seems to be the majority of the time.

How does suspension work in that school? Like are the 'offenders' in school but separated from others or are they forbidden from the grounds? Because if it's the latter everyone should just take pics and criticise the school to get suspended and then the issue of being forced to attend a school that is aiding the spread of the virus is solved.

The NRA is not required for the preservation of the second amendment. This is both political and about fraud. NRA left itself open and someone capitalized but again NRA not needed for 2nd amendment preservation. Supremes already there for that. This is about getting rid of money and power from Republican political apparatus.
