There was a girl at my school that had neurofibro and she had facial deformity as well and a glass eye. Her mother had it. That gal I went to school with lived a really sad life but she tried to stay positive and people were mean to her. I sometimes wish the school had called a meeting on her absent days and really explained to everyone what she had and why people needed to be kind. You'd think people in junior high and high school wouldn't need to be told that.
She passed in her mid 20s when she developed a brain tumor. RIP

My uncle and aunt have had it where one had it on their arm area only and one on the face but they got surgery to remove most of it and now my uncle is retired engineer and my aunt became a nurse to those who helped her with her face and she is the most strongest person ever. I accept them for who they are as a person not let their condition or disability stop me from liking i like them for whats in their heart the inner beauty i see of them

She is just beautiful. I commend her strength and bravery. I think I'd freak out if I were in her situation. I am so happy she's a brave girl. It is always cool to see people who embrace who they are instead of hiding away, being embarrassed, hating themselves, and/or being discriminated against, etc. so I'm happy see she's appearing to overcome this.
