Plastic surgery got me detained at the airport - hooked on the look

AUSTRALIAN DRAG QUEEN and influencer Tomi Grainger has revealed that they had been detained at the airport multiple times as the border staff couldn't believe they were the same person as their passport photo. Tomi, who has splurged over $50, 000 on plastic surgery, is the youngest person to undergo a facelift procedure in Australia in a bid to 'fix their elastic skin' as a result of drastic weight loss. During their school years, Tomi desperately wanted to alter their look in order to fit in with their peers. To me, it was all about altering your appearance because when I did those things, people started to accept me a lot more, Tomi said. I'm the first to admit that accepting myself is always something I always struggled with and I continue to struggle with. I don't think plastic surgery is the answer to that, but it does help. Although Tomi's made a name for themselves as a drag queen, Tomi's family, especially the siblings, still struggle to accept Tomi for who they are. Tomi added: I wish that we would have a better relationship and that we could learn to understand each other. And also, I wish they didn't think that me getting plastic surgery makes me an awful person

I don-t see why it should be a issue if he-s not recognized at the air port I mean I think that-s what he was looking for is a -different look-. People shouldn-t be mean to him, it-s sad that adults grow up to be adult bullies, it-s not your life. He isn-t hurting anyone this is what he wants it-s his money an mainly important he seems very KIND! People mind your business it-s his money his happiness keep mean comments to your self. I hope you have a blessed beautiful happy long life an that you find a point in your life where you are truly happy with how you feel an look! Xoxo

Real good looks comes strictly from within. The ugliest MoFo can pull or become a 'model' or whatever because if you have character, humour or wit and stand behind yourself, others will adore you and your looks may even become the new norm for what is 'good looking' at the time or your circle. However if the outside doesn't match the inside, people who meet you will get a creepy 'uncanny valley' feeling and we just can't deal with it, so we distant ourselves. I thing all the 'horrible' posts are the ones that will eventually save you from yourself [all people who like PS].

I don't think there is an inherent problem with plastic surgery, but I hope he's not letting his distorted mental image of himself dictate what procedures he gets done. I also really resonated with the nonbinary label for the same reason, and I'm glad that helped them! Be safe, and keep working on your mental health. As someone with a history of eating disorders myself, Anorexia has a tendency to sneak back into your decisions

It-s unbelievable when you see some ppl spending so much time and energy trying to make sense of their existence when the answer is so clear and simple! They-ll never ever be satisfied with themselves when they can-t embrace who and what they truly are. They-re too busy playing pretend that they-re something they-ll actually never be in real life!

Compared to people who are addicted to this, the person actually tried to do the work and didn't see results before asking the doctor. This lets me know there's rationality behind the decision. You know, how a consultation should be.

How is this person so called -sweet- spending all their time, money and effort on their vanity.
A good person would have spent time, money and effort on saving animals and others not just parading themselves in videos.

When you try so hard to look -different- but end up looking just like everyone else who's had the same procedures. Seeing these videos makes me grateful that I'm 55 yrs old and don't have to grow up in this world.

3: 32 I have always struggled with my identity. This is the root problem. All people male or female have been lied to or confused. Our identity is found in who created you and that Love that only comes from Abba -

Being spat on and punched in the face is NOT ON! I feel for Tomi but as he mentioned, plastic surgery isn't the answer but does help. I wish him the best.

Such a sweet person who also said that plastic surgery wasn't the answer to his problems but made him feel good. more or less.
I wish him all the best.

-It's okay to be you, it's amazing to celebrate who you are. - Timeless, inspiring words Tomi. Always stay true to yourself and hope you've been well! :)

Interesting that many of them have been bullied, abused and ostracised etc I was bullied and abused and I often think about getting surgeries.

He looks like a stereotype of plastic surgery it could be another alien plastic surgery we won't see the difference, they all look the same.
reply

How sad he was bullied, that affected his life. Nothing wrong with being a drag queen. I hope he finds acceptance and peace.

Why does truly suck now? When the series was barcroft tv it had way better content. This feels cheap and un-original.

Boring, so many of those -engineered- people out there. can artificial intelligence be added for those folks too?
reply

That's all we need is another fake delusional person that's never going to stop with surgery
