hello,
I am very happy to see people concerned by the earth state, she's seek and mostly people don't care about that. pfff
It's so appalling to see how being dressed following the fashion each season is the lead thing for a lot of people, it's normal for them, they don't have any reflection. Personally i buy my clothes in second hand shops so that the clothes can have a second life and that's it.
Otherwise i am very found of being well dressed but both are not impossible. For exemple my last item was a dressed whose trend was JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER (it's a collection piece because he just stopped to work) and it cost me 21 euros! and normally i buy clothes for a minimum of 5-6 euros until 15-16 and moreover the oldest clothes are stronger, you can keep them for a long long time.
I know it's a long message but i had to explain that so that some of the people can have good exemples with all theses explanations and to finish they don't have to be afraid or ashamed to buy clothes in second hand shops and shops where you can find the last year collections. Sorry for my English i am parisian so that i hope i can be understood
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO ELIZA ON BARCROFT TV!

Why are so many people in the UK throwing their clothes in the trash? I find that really irresponsible. donate is the way to go. if something gets a stain on it somebody may be looking for free clothes to paint in or other dirty jobs. recycle whenever we can. we have a lot of homeless people here in America and people that are living in poverty that rely in free clothes too I hope there's a way for them to get decent clothes. what I don't get in this video is where is there money to pay for that building, I'm confused at how she operates.

this is amazing! I would love to get involved with something like this. I'm already currently involved with a climate activist group which involves us protesting at banks and retailers that are mostly contributing to the destruction of our planet, but I do want to change my lifestyle aspects as well. we have a lot of vintage kg sales here in Liverpool, it's unfortunate that vintage is getting quite expensive these days? personally I'm using depop a lot, and I prefer it to buying directly from shops

Time to wear the white robes of the utopian society where everyone shaves their heads to look alike and eventually the compassionate gubment aborts at its whim and the death panels make sure you don't live too long to be a burden on society. Hurray. Progress. And it all starts with degendering, first with individuality in clothing.

Some of the characters look like they are the kind of stuff really scary nightmares are made of. How do these get accepted as normal? I think the 'accept everybody as they are' is being taken too far, at the expense of basic HUMAN taste. Try to put a newborn baby in a room with these creatures, and observe the HORROR and the CRIES.

I really appreciate her efforts but I truly believe that there are so many people out there who just dont-t like the feeling that someone actually wore that jumper before them. Putting an end to fast fashion process is almost impossible.
Maybe companies just should lower their output, not end.

There are really much things for free in Berlin. They're on the streets and on free-boxes/free-shops. So all furnitures and basically all clothes which I have are for free. Don't know, why people are still buying so much things there

I work in fast fashion, I hate it every day because we have to unpack so much plastic waste everyday, tonnes of it, and we advertise ourselves as sustainable. it-s so fake. It makes me so sad

Why not just send all our clothes to poor/3rd world countries. They would use our scraps to remake lots of things. Maybe someone should make a business of that. Without being greedy.

Free stores were big in the 1960s among the so called hippies. This is a MARVELOUS idea. Kudos to the youth doing this. Bring clothes and take different ones - awesome!

I am glad I decided not to go for Fashion Designing as a career path. Instead of following trends, just create your own fashion style. Be unique & yourself.

what a great idea! I'm school for social work, and I'm going to bring this up to my community organization class as an idea to do for a social event!

Depop is an app I recently found that's based on individuals selling buying and swapping their old clothes and shoes and stuff online and worldwide: )

I was recently watching 'Fashion Factories Uncovered'. It's really shocking the things people have to go through, just to make a living. -

I love second hand stores! I-ve found soo many cute things that are basically brand new (some still with tags on it) and for sooo cheap

I have seen a lot more thrift and swap events pop up close to me and a lot more people are going and buying second hand clothes

This is an amazing idea. As it grows you can add local food street vendors. Keeping people there to continue browsing/picking.

Yeah, I think it-s ridiculous how clothing can cost up to thousands of dollars, just because you-re paying for the brand name
