ALCOHOLISM almost drove a man to suicide, before he sobered up and transformed himself into a ripped powerlifting model. After graduating high school and winning $51, 000 on the gameshow -Wipeout-, Kyle Sullivan, who had been drinking since the age of 14, began living a life of -non-stop partying-. His drink and drug-filled lifestyle began to concern his family, and Kyle made the move out of Los Angeles to Sonoma County in Northern California for a new start. But even after starting over, his drinking spiralled out of control. He told Truly: -Everything about me was a lie. Since I always wanted to be drinking, I had to hide my drinking. - Kyle can be found on Instagram at: and at: He also has a YouTube channel: Videographer / Director: Kyle Sullivan Producer: Joe Roberts

Yep. I wasn't shooting up HEROIN when I left LA to move up North for recovery.
I started falling in love with Fentanyl and was slowly learning to accept this new friend of mine. I was happy I got rid of Black but wasn't so sure about this new friend Fetty. So that went on for like a year including the Pandemic year accepting this reality if mine.
Well, it's Thanksgiving weekend here in 2021. And I've decided that I need to get rid of Fetty starting Monday. My life hasn't been the same since a few weeks ago. I need to stop this ASAP.
In the past I've been delaying my recovery with many excuses but TODAY it's time to get rid of all my side projects and focus on staying CLEAN & SOBER!
I need to do this ASAP and learn to FOCUS ON INDIVIDUAL GOALS & PROJECTS. Learn to appreciate life and its terms.
And it STARTS NOW!

I too am an alcoholic in recovery. I used to love working out ( body building ) in the gym but unfortunately i relapsed and spent the next 6yrs drinking almost to my death. Im now 6months sober and go to AA but ive just recently started getting back into training and i know i have a lot of work to do regarding my daily recovery and pateints with my body building after a lengthy lay off. I found your video very inspiring and its certainly given me hope to achieve my goals. I hope your still doing good. Thankyou for your inspiration.

I-ve been drinking daily for the last year and a half, I am now a month clean from alcohol and cigarettes. Though, I-m going thru the scariest withdrawals and I-m constantly dizzy and I don-t feel like myself at all- I just feel afraid when I get panic attacks due to the withdrawals- but I know this is only temporary.

I really appreciated your story. I am currently functioning alcoholic. I drink every day but I don't get drunk just enough to get buzzed. But I'm pretty sure I want to stop and would like to know what it's like not to drink everyday maybe not at all. I appreciate your words they are inspiring. Thank you.

Good job homie! I am coming up on 22 months sober. 10+ years of crazy intense drunkenness. I don-t ever want to go back! For me, my outlet is running. It-s something that keeps me grounded. I-m about to run my second marathon this September. Thanks again for sharing yourself story!

Nobody needs alcohol to live life the way they want too. I have to say I was a bit of mess in my younger days too so I know where hes coming from. But I have not drink any alcohol over 7 years now and I can truly say I dont miss it or need it in my life --

Awesome story, Kyle. You're a great model of achievement. I'm in a similar situation with alcohol. Trying to do the same thing. Thanks for the video& best wishes in the future.

The thing about those transformations is that they all tend to go from one extreme to another. From obese/alcoholic to taking steroids. It isn't a much healthier option.

Start with one day gap between drinking, then two day gap, then three, then four, then five and finally six day gap. Drinking once a week is not that bad.

NGL this guy looks like he was living a great life. Obviously abusing yourself like that can't last for long but still I'm sure he had some good times.

Is there some kind of manual that says, once you piss your life away and reach rock bottom, growing a douchebag beard gets you in shape?
