She makes me proud to say that in the 80s my high school tried to start a female football team but we could not convince any of the other high schools to participate. We were the only ones. Many years later I was proud again to learn that my city had a women's professional team (Detroit Demolition) and I had the chance to watch them play. --- WAY TO GO, SANTIA _not for being the highest paid but for being the one of the BEST at what we tried to do_! ------

For the people commenting on the women's football league it just started. And she plays for LA. I don't even know if they have a major tv deal yet cause again the league is new(although I would think a ABC or NBC would cover them. They are only several games in for this season, which is their first from my understanding.
