Polygamy has been around for thousands of years, but it was outlawed in 1898. I don't understand why it was outlawed when polyamory has been around since the dawn of modern civilization. What works for one person will not work for someone else, and I'm okay with that. Who are we to judge them? My thing is: If you can handle it long-term with no issues, then go ahead. But when cheating and homewrecking ensues, it's time to reconsider polygamy/polyamory (and possibly leave the lifestyle because you can't handle it.

Being polyamorous, the 2nd one made me very uncomfortable. It feels like polygamy and commitment issues bundled into one burrito. I don't see that being a substantial long term situation, just a lot of drama and an ego that wants to be constantly praised. Idk what he's doing but I hope everyone's getting their share, I've never seen a large group of women with one man and thought, -yeah, that's an accurate representation of Polyamory-.

It's considered normal to sleep around with a hundred different partners and have children with each of them while taking care of NONE. but, it's totally disgusting and you will go to hell if you should choose to commit, provide for and live with more than one consenting partners.
