The only -stigma- around tourettes is because of the thousands of people on tiktok pretending to have it. Nowadays, it's smart to assume that someone _doesn't_ have it until proven otherwise. Doesn't mean you need to call them out for it if you're really not positive, or be rude to them. It just means that with the amount of people faking, chances are that you'd be correct in assuming someone's faking before blindly taking their word for it.

I am a local lawn care specialists in the suburbs of Chicago. At customers homes if there is not bathroom I have to hide in the corner of there fence to go to bathroom sometime it number 2 but I cover myself with a garbage bag so no one can see me. I have tried to jiggle customers door handles for maybe I can use there bathroom but they always lock there doors SMH

it feels amazing to see how much awareness there has been for tourettes recently and as someone who has tourettes aswell, im glad its getting more attention because itll finally be more normalized nowadays and people with tourettes wont be judged as much anymore! :)

One message I have to say is don-t let people judge you for what you are, just be yourself! You are probably a wonderful person, people who can-t accept you being yourself are not worth your time! -

People don't believe I have autism because it doesn't look like I have it. But I was diagnosed with Asperger since 2011. At 19, I feel normal and I won't care about people making fun of who I am

I have Tourettes diagnosed at 11 years old. I am 30 this year and honestly I will never care about people making fun of the things that I do. I am not embarrassed by it.

I was diagnosed with adult/late onset Tourette-s which my docs believed is a reactivation of it when I was younger. Not entirely sure as my parents aren-t around.

Thats terrible you shouldnt make fun of someone due to a medical condition. If you want to make fun of them make fun of their hair or something.

people should be more sincere and respectful to everyone around them and don't troll on anyone whom you don't know well. be kind, after all #human
