TULSI, Vagjiani, 43, was just 10 years old when she was involved in a plane crash which took her parents and brother. Suffering with 45 per cent burns to her body, doctors didn't think that Tulsi would survive, but she proved them wrong. Over the years, Tulsi has endured bullying because of the way she looks. She told Truly: I've experienced so many negative comments, the name calling was relentless. I've often had things thrown at me to see if I was human. Conscious of her scars, Tulsi used to cover up in long-sleeved clothes to hide how she looks, but over time her confidence and courage has grown - and she now shares her journey to help others. She says: I absolutely love my scars and I've learned to accept them. My body has been through a lot and it's still standing here, it's still beautiful and still functioning. Why wouldn't I want to celebrate that?

In South Korea they rebuild peoples faces so the look like movie stars and that's with people who have worse faces than yours. On Japanese TV they show these people before and after. It's like night and day. If you have any interest in that then you might do some investigating.
The TV show has people who were born with deformities and other kinds of problems. The doctors do it free because the Japanese show pays for it. Since it's popular, the operations pay for themselves through commercials. Anyway, they could make you look like a new person.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! you are beautiful outside as well as inside and to any of the m------------ who have to run their mouths they're insecure with their life so they have to give you s--- in yours - I have scars on my face and I have been called horrible names too but it doesn't bother me because I know I'm ugly lol but seriously keep your head high and your heart full of love

So very heartbreaking to hear about her mother and brother. She's such a bubbly young woman considering what she's had to endure. She gets bullied for the reminders of her survival, when her family didn't. That would be trauma in itself because it's a constant reminder of who she lost. Blessings to her!

People are disgusting, if I saw this woman, I might do a double take without meaning to - but you KNOW this person has been through something horrific without even asking. How could you be cruel to them?
I know a lot of it must come from other kids and teens when she was young- but still.

God has kept your life girl for a reason so don't ever stop shining that light and being the better person you can be forget all the negative critics because they don't know what you've been through they only see the birds but they have not seen the triumph you can do it girl

I'm truly amazed that the UK, such a developed country has such underdeveloped inhabitants that cal a survivor names and bully her. Like seriously? REALLLY?
She's great and it took her a while to realize that as she shared but she's awesome. An amazing survivor and warrior.

This woman deserves the world. She lost her family in a plane crash that she survived. That kind of heartache is unbearable and she-s here stronger than ever.

Losing her family in that horrific accident must have been awful for her. But she's such a queen for embracing her scars and learning to love herself again!
