And then there's my boyfriend who don't want me to have many tattoos because 'it's not natural, it distorts your body'. He knew me I had already 3 now nearly 8 and on my way to get many more. He said 'not above ten I don't want you to have to many or you won't be pretty anymore, I don't like your tattoos'. I do them for me because I like them and it boost my confidence so It's not him that gonna tell me to stop. And he thinks my tattoos are completely dumb (for those who don't have significations and can't understand how much my tattoos are helping me. He sees them as self harm not as a way to feel great and pretty.

People think you steal because of that? I've never heard of that and a lot of my family/friends have a bunch of tattoos. Obviously that's just a small group. If it is happening to anyone for any reason then that's really lame. I've worked in retail and my fellow employees and I didn't make assumptions unless we saw someone stealing or they were known to steal from the company already. Judging people can be helpful, but not if you're accusing them of being a thief based solely on the fact that they have tattoos.

I have tattoos not as much as this just arms and six on the back but I often wonder do these people feel like they lost a part of themselves in the process, because it's no longer the same person the entire body is altered and face do they even recognize their true selves because I wouldn't want to lose the realness of me, the person I was born as because we are all born as individuals I don't know how to make this make more sense but I hope ppl might understand what I'm saying.

I have eight, and the first three I received are in places always covered by clothing while the rest are on my upper arms. We had that same boost in self-confidence. If you want to show your tattoos then you kind of have to 'own' them, or else you'll feel cringey and others will pick up on that emotion. That would defeat the point of choosing to have 'visible' tattoos and being happy with that choice.

Assuming someone steals because they look a certain way? Isn't that really silly? As if non-tattooed folks don't steal. I guess some might make an association with prison or gang tattoos? Face tattoos have existed for waaaay longer than the prison system and gang culture. And now they're just art. Completely normal self-expression.

She-s very sweet and pretty. It-s nice when two artists can be together like that. Personally I hope she doesn-t cover her face in tattoos, because she looks really nice now. I also like that she hasn-t deformed herself, it-s mostly just the art of the tattoos.

I just have both of my ear pierced 6 times in both ears. I don-t have any tattoos on me and I-m not into having one. I don-t mind in seeing a tattoo on someone else. I do liked them but, not on me.
