Jellyfish dont have a heart, or blood, or even a brain. Theyve survived five mass extinctions. And you can find them in every ocean, from pole to pole. Whats their secret? Keeping it simple, but with a few dangerous tricks

600 million years with no brain- they will definitely survive human race. Humans with brains destroy the planet in a fraction of this time ans will be known in the history of the universe to be the only species that extincted them self for profit and financial gain. So what is a brain usefull for?

I would really like to know from any of the people who did not like this or videos like this, what is it that you did not like?
Are you fired staff, or failed Scientists, or did you think this was sponge Bob, or are the facts incorrect?

I find that phrasing stings most. you imply you are talking about more than one jellyfish but say a butterfly and a bee which implies comparing a plural to singular organisms. it may be just me, but its bothersome.

I was stung by a Jelly fish once. It was the worst pain I ever felt. There were 100s of small stings in a small patch on my skin. It took about 3 months for the pain to completely go away.

Yeah, politicians survive without a heart or brain but you don't hear me making mini-documentaries about them now, do ya?
Just kidding this was awesome. Keep 'em coming.

reply

Wonder if they sting each other if they accidentally bump in to each other?
They are able to survive without ears, eyes and a brain? A lot like politicians er!

Jellie is like a beautiful rocks that last 10 million years! But still here
I love jellies they look like fireworks but stings like burst of fireworks

reply

I think to preserve our history we should right it down in there genetics code. You know for when we all disappear. And something else comes up
reply

Very misleading. Actually some jellyfish can see. They also have nervous systems and can detect many things in the environment humans cannot.

Deep look: the jellyfish harpoon-like stinger extends outward 10000 times faster than gravity!
Pistol shrimp: Am I a joke to you?

reply

Goes to show that brains nor brawn are the ultimate survivor traits. Sometimes just some floating around helps you live too!
reply

I never knew jellyfish were luminescent or had grabby tentacles on their bell. Who knew science facts are so weird at times?
reply

Is this a rhetorical question, or are you actively trying to insult your fan base.
We all know, now be quiet.

reply

I guess even the dumbest things can live longer than the dinosaurs.
Welp guys time to get the frying pan

reply

Roaches and jellyfish are going to be the only 2 things left alive once humans finally doom the planet lol
