Nice! Your story is very similar to mine, but over 1/2 a century ago. Thanks for the great videos, which I have sent links to numerous people who want to know this type of stuff. Over the last 1/2 dozen decades, when I am asked about what is most important for an aspiring EE, I tell them good communication and hands-on practical experience. Being able to speak and write clearly to explain their ideas and work in a way that the listener understands is paramount. You excel at this, especially with the included clear, relevant graphics and animations.
I am now a 3/4 century old retired EE.
P. S. MIT university, for years now, has put their entire BSEE course on-line, available to anyone, for free. Same everything as their paid program, but no Diploma when you pass (that costs the $$$ thousands. While it is accurate, and comprehensive, I would discourage anyone to start there. You will quit and leave frustrated and disappointed. Perhaps a long term project for you, The Engineering Mindset, would be to accumulate and organize your videos as a course: Electronics: Practical, Applied and Theoretical

I am a maintenance trainer / technician. My biggest issue as a trainer is getting back to the basics for some of the things I think they should have already known before getting the job. I am so grateful for some of the videos that you you have done so that I can let you explain those basics without me losing my patience.
Even though I have been an industrial mechanic for almost 40 years, I have even had a few ah-ha moments watching your videos. Some of the refrigeration and 3-phase electrical videos have been some of the most helpful for my training efforts.
Thank you for all your work!

I work as an automatic door repair technician. When I first started, these videos were invaluable for wrapping my head around things like circuits, relays, etc. I now direct every trainee we have to your videos to learn the fundamentals of electricity and electronics. You are indirectly keeping the automatic doors in Phoenix, AZ up and running! Thank you!

Thank you for all your efforts. Even as a tradesman I always had issues understanding how certain aspects of electricity work in detail. But your explanations, analogies and animations make it easy to comprehend. Looking forward to another ten years!

I literally watched almost all of your videos. They are so good. I believe your videos should be displayed in universities for students to learn concepts properly. You could die happily with what you gave all the people of learning.

Your content is very good but I never understood why you use electron current instead of conventional current! I was educated in the uk, and teach also uk and aus programmes, and NEVER have I seen electron current in my life!

16: 32 The landlord was a bit dodgy. That goes with the territory of renting anything. I don't think there's ever been an honest landlord or used car salesman in the history of the human race.
