Currently supertall under construction in Tokyo: 325m & 390m (Total floor area: 544, 000-. -The worlds largest total floor area)-

Not surprised with Philippines or Metro Manila in the Top 10. A USD400-500 billion dollar economy and 67-70% of that amount is in Metro Manila ONLY. This means Philippines companies in Metro Manila have money to build. Imagine that. Yes, other parts of the Philippines, especially the isolated islands, are backwards and poor but Manila is different. The top 5% rich (around 6 million or roughly the population of Singapore) lives in that City.

Wow. I'm surprised that Manila, Philippines entered the Top 10. I know we have a lot of tall buildings here in Manila but the Philippines is situated along the Pacific Ring of Fire making it difficult and costly to build supertalls. Anyway, we are just getting started, we have a lot of ongoing projects that are above 250m, we might see 300-400m projects this year. Crossing fingers!

Wow, I can't believe it just like that, and I never knew that all of the skyline tallest cities in the world which I ever fall in love in my own eyes. That's is powerful then normal towns. There are about 13 cities in China that have entered this ranking. China has built too many tall buildings. Now the government strictly stipulates that under normal circumstances, tall buildings over 250 meters are not allowed to be built, and tall buildings over 500 meters are prohibited. This is a good decision.

I don't quite get this. You put half the Chinese cities and USA only got nyc? What about Chicago, it even has 3 or 4 buildings more than 300 meters. Where is Chicago? Also San Francisco, Los Angeles. I am sure they Have more skyscrapers than London at least. Seriously this can't be

Anyone surprised that Manila is 10th in the world when it comes to having the tallest skyline has never actually been there. I've been there several times and it's literally looking more and more like the Asian equivalent of Manhattan. It's massive.

I think it-s better to stick with 150m+ instead of 100m+ to improve accuracy and because Skyscrapers are considered to be 150m+
