In need of advice please. I have built a spare 24V pack for my bike. The thing I didn't realise that the original pack is smart, it has two power connections and two light duty connections. When I connect the spare to the power connections only nothing happens. Is there a fix for this or have I wasted my time. If no, could I charge the original with the spare. Any advice welcome, TIA.

if you go the cheap sketchy way and just solder the strips to the batteries with care to add as little heat as you can and either get the batteries free or buy them for like 50 cents a sell in packs online at a website that im not gonna tell u about because im selfish you can do it way cheaper DIY

I made (14s 9p(each battery is 2. 4ah) totally (58. 8v 21. 6ah) li-ion battery pack for my ebike. Voltage from 58. 8V to 54V the battery is decreasing very rapidly (2kms per 1 volt)and after 54V-44V its decreasing reasonable(6-7kms per volt. How do I fix this?

Buying is probably the better option, you would still need to buy a case, mounting system, key switch, charging connector, . While a finished battery comes with all of that.
And now there is plenty of option to buy finished battery using new Samsung cells

Thank you for great content!
I have 28 cells of Headway 38120, 3. 2V 8Ah each. I'd like to use them as two parallel packs of 14 cells each. I'm looking for a BMS and a changer for these. What should I look for exactly?

I don't understand that, everyone tells me to use safety wire and secure everything well, but when I open a battery pack from my scooter, it doesn't even have a real bms and everything is spot-welded.

in this case the DIY is the clear winner, if you take cell quality into account. your DIY cells are far more better quality than the cheap ebay packs. they use fake samsung cells
