After Heathkit went out of business, I can only buy Chinese kits, which include Chinese instructions only. I have not been able to assemble one correctly. They also don't include all of the components.

This is not a real inverter but a class-d amplifier with integrated sine generator driving a transformer. Never will be that efficient like creating an smps a stable voltage and the output pwm-ed to sine.

I just ordered a 3000 watt pure sine for 170 dollars from China. I just hope it gets here. How good it is, is not that important to me for 170 dollars. If it lasts me one year ill be happy.

Nobody should underestimate the difficulty of inverters. They are hard to make properly, and mains voltage ones are frickin' dangerous too.
