In this video I will conclude the MOSFET Driver video series by having a closer look at Gate-Drive Transformers. As a practical example I will be using a Tesla Coil driver circuit that uses a Gate-Drive Transformer to control its MOSFETs. We will be finding out how the transformer works, how to use it in a circuit, how to create a DIY version and why using a commercial solution often makes more sense

Great Scott I watched a video where you made your own IR remote and you ran the arduino mini off a 3v button cell. I was a bit confused because I thought you could only power the arduino mini through 5v or 6 to 12v. I did some research and found out that you can't power an arduino through the 3. 3v pin. So, can you tell me how you powered it? (So, I can power my projects off 3v button cell) Did you use a boost converter or is it just a feature on the arduino mini?

Ieven though
Input lie between 6v to 15 volt
I want to replace 7805 by this ckt
If possible please Also tell us about changes in ckt to get 9 volt fixed voltage
By inputting 10- 15 volt

Hi greatscott, I really want to know how to get started with electronics, logic, Arduino n stuff.
Are there any resources (books, courses)
