Hi! Will this work for a live performance on a string instrument? For example, if I play a solo on my viola will each LED respond to particular frequencies, or do all lights flicker at once?
Also, can the LED lights be replaced with Christmas lights?

I am seeing different series of MSGEQ7 like MSGEQ7 0408 89042 and also MSGEQ7 0442 103337 which are different from one you are using here. Do these numbers matter while trying to make this LED Music Organ?

nice Project, really helped me out with some questions i had!
Tiny thing for the next time: Maybe don't say things like it's simple and if you don't get it, google is your best friend that's just rude.

Some modules can produce voltages proportional to the input frequency. Do you think I can use them to make a color organ? Do you think using these modules is as cheap as using a microcontroller?
