this is how history is messed up. Lies are propagated or omission of truth or wrong narrative is a constant reality even in 2022. If you don't know, the production of metals and weaving were all perfected by India. By conquering and ruling India, they copied all the technology and started producing in britain while persistently executing weavers and smiths in India. There was a point India even perfected iron rods that were impossible to rust (The pillars are still there attracting tourists in Delhi and Karnataka, which is now lost knowledge. And the truth is British cloth was of inferior quality than Indian woven clothes even after grabbing the tech. infact britain became china of 2020, the maker of low quality high quantity cheap goods.

No mention of bronze age copper and tin trade, the trade of wood and wheat in the mediterranean (which had huge enviromental impacts. No mention of Dutch spice trade to the east indies (17th century) or the nordic trades (fish, wood.
A lot of emphasis on slave trade and how horrible it was. Then a lot of emphasis on Chinas plans, but no mention of all the horrible things. No mention of modern day forced labor trade either.
The north pole routes at the end are a nice touch.

Thumbs down because u didnt mention one of the oldest trade partners of Egypt, how do u not mention land of punt which traded frankincense, myrrh, spices since time of Babylon. Known to the ancient world as punt, makrobia, puntites, barbario and cape aromatics by the Romans and thats before aksum was a thing. Traders from Egypt, Greek and Rome didnt go past the horn.

A history of slavery would be very informative, since there's a great deal of misunderstanding out there stating that the United States/Western Countries started the slave trade.
Some sort of slavery has been going on since humanity has been around. Today it goes by different names, but it is still there.
Thank you for providing wonderful unbias videos!

Great, another white washed history. Africa had no trade route until the west. According to the video, slavery was abolished before the Americans started trading cotton. I could swear that slaves work in those cotton farm. But then again only what is convenient to the west is regarded as history.

Falsification of the modern India is one of the biggest lie Europeans did. Modern India used to be called Baharati and East Africa was Bara Indi or indies or Azaniyah. But Europoids decided to remove all African names from Africa and call it anything that suits them.

Should've mentioned Phoenician trade routes connecting England, Spain and the whole of Mediterranean sea. Bronze age trade routes connected Mesopotamia, Egypt, Cyprus, Northern Europe, Minoans where Greece is, Hittites where now Turkey is.

Cool video.
Misses the whole trade of spices between Dutch and English with India and South East Asia. The Dutch East India company was one of the largest corporations to have ever existed.

I loved the video but short mistake. The Seljuks never persecuted the Cristians from pilgrimage, in fact, they encouraged them and made it easier for them.
