The honesty and nobility of the use of the law is only as good as those that use it. Since there is no qay, to gsrentee the individuals, or the goverment always act in such ways, it should not be inacted. There were reasons our founding fathers created thaps laws. And, the Patorate Act ignores all, those as well abuse to be far reaching then most could imagine. Safety vs. Freedom. Our founding fathers thought and addressed that. Freedome first.

Why is everyone so passionately upset or against it? Like yeah it can sound creepy, but wow, the government is learning so much about how I stream crunchyroll all day and itch my butt. Such a travesty --
Then again I-m One of those people who wave at cameras so. Guess I-m just unusually unbothered. That or I-m just confident the government wouldn-t benefit from doing any harm from me.

I remember as a teen i joined a lot of political chatrooms and forums. And it was the republican types that were saying -oh we don't need freedom anymore because 9/11 happened. we need to let the patriot act spy on us and let bush do whatever he wants. freedom is obsolete. - 2007 hit and they were like -we need to stop obama because freedom freedom freedom-

The 'patriot act' is contraverisal mainly because it blames the average law abiding American citizen for what the government failed to do, that was to protect America from external threats.
