How the U. S. Supreme Court Decided the Presidential Election of 2000 - History Michael: The PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION of Two Thousand showed the entire World, if not the People of the United States of America that the REPUBLICANS were going to Win, , no matter what was said or done.
The New millennium, the beginning of One Thousand years, and the first PRESIDENTIAl ELECTION of the New WORLD Order. And there was another reason why the REPUBLICANS felt that they had to Win, it was that the Vice PRESIDENTIAL Candidate was Jewish. And that was to close to Possibly Being the President. When the election seamed like the REPUBLICANS might lose, they played their four ACE'S and the JOKER, FIVE SURPREM COURT justices, Five people, and the Millions of Millions of People who voted, there VOTE'S did not Matter. That happened in the infancy of the Twenty First Century. When the Millennium was a Teenager the year was Twenty Sixteen and once again the REPUBLICANS got what they wanted, and it was not the Surpreme COURT, been there done that, this time they used the Electoral College VOTE to deny a Woman Candidate from becoming the next President of the United States of America. And even though many did not agree with the results, the democracy stayed in tack, and the REPUBLICANS won again.

\\\\ ARE GEORGIA AND OTHER STATES UNDER GERRYMANDERING DARKNESS? //// Instead of clean election run inside well established county-borders, Gerrymandering people tilt election borders by their -pre-selected- racial and other known voting tendencies, as reportedly done at least in Georgia [YOU-tube, Mar 9, 2017], -'Washington, [127], Arizona, [128], California[129], [130] Rhode Island [131], New Jersey [132, 133]- - Wikipedia, and Oct 17, 2019, YOU-tube: -The man who rigged America's election maps. - To avoid destabilizing tainting of future regimes, well established county borders should be used to remove doubts regarding the Nov-3-run to be compared with a clean general runoff. No time? WRONG. The original constitution: Four months post election date. as done over hundred years until president FDR changed it in 1932. Naturally some would object, but what is more important? ////

Think about how different the world was in pre-9/11 versus post-9/11 particularly here during this disputed election where the world was getting ready for the end of the Clinton era, just getting used to the Bush era, and trying to get over the controversial election result before the 9/11 attacks just happened out of nowhere and changed people-s attention and hence was the real beginning of the Bush era where the Bush era actually began with its worldwide terror.

if Bill Clinton had just kept it in his pants Gore probably would have won
think about it part of why the race was so close was that huge scandal of Clinton Cheating on his wife and then lying under oath about it
its a safe bet that cost Al Gore a material amount of votes, if that DID NOT happen Gore probably would have won

I hope the United States of America Congress can try to find a way to reform the United States of America Electoral College that they used for the United States of America presidential elections rather than abolish it someday later in the near future.

I am so pleased I don't live in the United States. It's bad enough having 'first past the post', but then to have an Electoral College on top of that: it's the worst way one could possibly democratically elect a president, in my opinion.
reply

so we had two missed presidents first al gore and then hillary clintion. shame they wouldve done things very differntly and how would we be doing now as a nation? shmae we will never know. maybe in an alternate timeline they both won.

So when its dems claiming fraud or stolen with no proof its ok and possible plus the media saying its true but when its a republican with legitimate evidence and proved it in few states doing the same it's all not
reply

The only thing I don-t like about Al gore is that he is a little crazy when it comes to climate change. Other than that, even as a Republican, he wouldn-t have been too bad
reply

Honestly, when it's that complicated, I say Florida's legislature should've just picked electors to choose. States don't actually have to let us vote for president.
reply

Left out the crucial bit about how they only threw out the democratic hanging Chad's but kept Republican ones, and how bushes brother made the call.
reply

Albert Gore should not have distanced himself from William Jefferson Clinton, and Gore should have also picked someone besides Joseph Lieberman as his VP.
reply

Electoral College is there so California can-t stomp on little states. Just because you have more people doesn-t excuse us having mob rule.
reply

Helps when your brother is the governor of said state. The bushes are responsible for everything going on in the Middle East.
reply

So fast forward 20 years later Donald Trump is trying to use the Al Gore strategy to overthrow the election in his favor.
reply

Gore would have won Florida officially had they let the recount proceed. That was bs that Al Gore was denied his win.
reply

1: 39 West Virginia was Democratic? That-s wrong. If West Virginia was Democratic, Gore would have been President.
reply

Not a dime's of worth of difference-George Wallace Governor of Alabama August 25 1919-September 13 1998
reply

How can this be democracy when the winner is the one with 550k or 2. 9million votes less than the loser
reply

I don't blame Florida I blame new Hampshire Bush won by 7 thousand votes gore had 266 electoral votes
