Before waching it:
1- Because of diplomacy that Spain build it hardly before WW1 with both sides.
2- Because, there are no War-Alling that Spain put themselves in it like Allies and Central power did.
3- Because of Spain's inner political problems (Democratic rising.
4- Because of the H1N1 virus pandemic.
5- Because, nothing important they want to gain it from this War, anyway.
Edit: Yeah, I was right, but the video mentioned more, how did I forget the Spanish Empire collapse? But, did he mentioned the Spanish pandemic?

Please stop representing Morocco with dessert terrain. The Spaniards were defeated by the Riffian people, who live in mountainous regions by the Mediterranean sea, far away from any dessert. It has forrest and snow peaks.
I'm not expecting an art piece of a representation of the actual geographical area. Of course not. But you do this a lot, which makes me doubt if you really know what you're talking about when covering the history in those countries.

Can the United States stay neutral durring W. W. I. I. I. supply arms, or food, medical supplies, fule to both sides. Or just one side. By assuming all not combat duties. Thuse freeing up European's to man the new what will it be called? Great barriers wall/ steal alloy curtin? Thuse for once United States sits it out in Europe. After having gone 20 years war in Afghanistan why not.

Good video. It was a very good decision on the part of the Spanish Government, for the first time it had an economic surplus, but they did not take advantage of the opportunity to industrialize the entire country and make a great economic advance. We would have to wait until 1959 to begin economic development.
