Just have elections in all arab nations 10 years from now and have candidates run in ALL nations without telling people where they are from. Or chose multinational people where parents came from 2 different countries and they grew up in a third or whatever.
All countries have a shared election with shared candidates and all countries votes count. As if its 1 country.
Everyone can vote and whoever gets the most votes from all countries combined wins.
if you need to find out the percentages per country and add them up later on so you cant have a country with 10m people outvote a country with just 2m.
Country 1 has 200m people 100m voted for candidate A 100m for candidate B 50%vs50%
County 2 has 2 milion people 200k voted for candidate A 1. 8m for candidate B 10%vs90%
Now dont go with 100. 2m vs 101. 8m Because that would be unfair for the people of the less populated country.
Do this instead:
Candidate A 50%+10% /2 countries = 30% Candidate B 50%+90% / 2countries = 70% of the votes.
Candidate B wins.
And the ministers have to be equally from all other nations.
How hard can that be.

This union was doomed from the beginning. first of all because of the corrupt dictators that would prefer to kill all their population then to give up power.
Secondly. union based on being Arab is like building a house on shifting sand. I mean it's a very weak bond since a lot of them would prefer to be shot dead then to be called arab(although they speak Arabic fluently, and so did their ancestors for long time). and let's not forget the racism specially from the Saudis and emiratis. etc(arab golf. who say they are the real pure arabs and the rest of the Arabs are fake!
So yeah. Arab union is a joke.
oh and yeah. another very strong reason: how can you be United when there is a snake living amongst you trying so hard to divide you so you don't become strong and get rid of it.

True unification wouldnt happen unless force is implemented.
Saudi Arabia is a good example of how unification Wars are necessary to unify a region that doesnt have a clear leader. Yemen would be a another great example, both North and South Yemen united in 1990, 4 years later when South Yemen tried to leave the union the North waged a civil War and forcibly kept it. The Yemeni union is of course considered a failure unlike the Saudi one but thats because of several reasons including corruption, foreign manipulation and poor governance, yet the same principle still implies, if you want to unite the Arabs; force has to be implemented.

As a Syrian I don't want any significant cultural or religious interference from other Middle Eastern countries. As for a united system that benefits everyone economically and politically then yes, of course, and a secular one that separates religion from all important matters. And current boundaries MUST be reassessed and taken into account since some countries eg. Palestine and Iraq are suffering greatly from lack of access to natural resources which have been robbed of them in the early 20th century, (see the history of the Kuwait border's impact on Iraq's ability to trade as it once had for thousands of years.

Arabs can not unite even in one Arabic country e. g lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Syria, etc. they fight each other because of religious differences (wahabis, shias, sunnis etc. English made up wahabism to make muslims kill each other. wahabists consider it is better to kill sunni muslim than killing non-muslim. that is why arabs fought against sunni muslim ottomans in 1st world war with help of england. so now they kill themselves for same reason. this is to establish big israel. so israel will easily conquer these weak arabic countries. England helped israel while England was helpiing Arabs to get rid of Ottoman

North Africa, Levant and Arabian Peninsula were all divided into Kingdoms, Emirates and Sheikhdoms.
After Crusades and Mongols there was not enough power to fight anyone else and came the ottomans and tried to imitate Rome by creating an empire where everything goes back to the capital and barely anything left for other states, the empire ofcourse failed in the same way and other strong European nations inherited some lands, then each nation started to fight on its own for its freedom and here we are now!

There is an old proverb that came from the Arabs themselves. It goes: In time of strife or conflict, it me and my family (male relatives) against my neighbors. It's me and my neighbors against my tribe. It's me and my tribe against any other tribe. and so on, all the way up the ladder. These are old, old ideas that predate feudalism. These ideas pre-date the Romans. It's bred into their souls.

As an arab I gotta say the biggest obstacle in the way of an arab union is that literally every single arab nation today is lead by a corrupt dictator or a west puppet or both. Most of the population is actually very supportive of the idea its just everyone knows it will amount to nothing under the control of these bastards

I'm surprised there was no mention of oil. The fewer Arab governments there are, the fewer people there are getting rich off the oil. while at the same time, the more united the Arab world is, the more the countries with oil are expected to share their wealth with the countries with no oil.

If only Nasser tried to add Jordan and Iraq to the United Arab Republic in 1958. However, if the Arab League was to become a single country, it should be a federation, with each of it's states having their own governors while the federation will have a president(like the United States.

ZIONISTS destroying Palestinian railroads connecting the surrounding countries had nothing to do with it, right? Israel being a destruction of the landbridge, having conquered Eilat which was never part of historic israel had nothing to do with canceling pan arabism, did it? XD

Crazy idea, but hear me out: what if they merged, making each country's leader into a regional governor of the respective states, and then asked the people to decide who they wanted to lead the whole thing? We'd call it a democratic election!

Nationalism is a European ideology that Arabs never bought into. Show me your evidence for claiming that the Arab people overwhelmingly supported merging with all the differing tribes across such a large territory into a single political entity.

No the reason for failure was because of the differences of the Shia muslims and Sunni muslims, how you didnt even mention shows you know nothing on this subject. Jordan was over 90% sunni and Iraq was 90% Shia

Leadership is not about being in charge, its about taking care of those in your charge!
Have the Arabs leaders taking care of their people!
That's why they have been colonized by Zionism and USA!

But weren't they technically unified under Ottoman rule? It appears after the arabs sold out the Ottomans they've just been living in chaos as no one has been able to agree on who is to lead lol.

It makes me think that an Arab Confederation could be a plausible way for pan-Arabism to work, where no one nation leads the others, yet they work for their common interests.

The Arab World did not unite because of hatred, hypocrisy, jealousy and greed. That is why the rest of the World doesn't trust or side with their collective ideology.
