Why is Croatia split in two by Bosnia?
video description
But last June Croatia opened up a new bridge that now goes around via islands and no longer makes the crossing necessary

Lot of corrections needed.
That is not Bosnian corridor to sea, but Herzegovinan. Bosnia is 100 km away. Southampton is in England, not in Scotland.
Republic of Dubrovnik existed before Croato-Hungarian Kingdom, which was not just monolithic Kingdom of Hungary, but Croatia-Hungary, just like Poland- Lithuania or Hannover-England: a personal union of two kingdoms through a person of monarch.
The depicted Bosnia-Herzegovina did not contained that southereast tail (Bay of Kotor, that belonged to Venetian Dalmatia that was later in Napoleon's Illyrian provinces, then in Habsburg Monarchy, it was not the Ottoman posession.
Taking over of country by Tito's Communist-led army was not the liberation, it was just a switch from one occupator (Axis) to another occupator (Communists, and that was especially visible in Croat-inhabited areas, including the area of Neum.

Bosnia has no shoreline, it's completely continental. The part of the country of Bosnia & Herzegovina that has sea shore is in Herzegovina, which is Mediterranean by climate. This is an important distinction I'd say, because this is a country made up of two separate geographical regions and then also divided politically due to the war that happened when Yugoslavia collapsed. It's not ethnically homogeneous and the part that splits Croatia is actually populated by largely Croats.
The exit to the sea is also now somewhat sealed of due to Croatia building a bridge that connects all of Croatia by road now. Ships of certain height can still navigate in and out.

I am from Serbia.
After 2020 lockdown, only country we could visit was Bosnia, so I went to Neum for my summer vacation.
Btw, most Bosnian citizens used to go to Neum over Croatia, first down Neretva valley, then Adriatic highway, because local roads to Neum were narrow. After Croatia was admitted to EU, they started to make harder checks for Bosnian citizens, so Bosnians built better road to coast.
If I am concerned, I would like if there was no border, like 32 years ago.

For your next video, I would suggest talking about medieval Castles; specifically, why Castles are no longer built (except occasionally in theme parks and on the beach, i. e. sandcastles. You can also mention the difference between Castles, Palaces and Fortresses; and you can also dispel some of the popular myths and misconceptions people often have regarding castles.

Possible video suggestions:
1. How did English (and Scottish) overseas colonies react to the English Civil War?
2. Why did the Portuguese colony of Brazil take territories far to the west of the line drawn in the treaty of Tordesillas with Spain?
3. Why did the Irish language continue to decline after Ireland's independence?

Lol, I thought this was going to be about why Croatia has such a weird shape with half the country north of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the other half Southwest of the same country, instead of being about how B&H has such a short coastline which separates a very small portion of Croatia from the rest of it. Still good, though!

Small correction, this map shows Croatia as Savska and Primorska Banovinas united, it never looked like that.
Those two Banovinas were made into the Banovina of Croatia, which looked different, it included Dubrovnik, a lot more of Herzegovina and most notably all of Bosnian Posavina!

Croatia build a bridge to the islands last year skipping Bosnia and fixing the centuries old problem. The Bridge also closes Bosnia from expanding on the sea because there is no official sea border but now there kinda is because there is a giant bridge build on it.

Here's one for you: When or why did Wales become a country when, well, it wasn't until fairly recently? As a Welshman, I am surprised to see Wales being regarded as part of England for most of the past 800 years rather than being its own separate entity.

the story is actually not over! croatia recently opened a highway bridge, which circumwents bosnia. You can now drive from split to dubrovnik exclusively on croation soil. This basically re-landlocked bosnia, as some ships dont fit under the bridge.

2: 07 Actually the early Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes made the Banovinas specifically shaped that way so they would include many ethnic groups not just one. It was made that way to hinder the grouping and organization of nationalistig groups.

I love how you asked Why does Bosnia cuts Croatia? and not Why does Croatia prevent Bosnia from having a coastline? .
And basically. This very comment literally sums up the tensions in the Balkans. I believe that's how conflicts start.

I ve actually been through that corridor. There s a town there and it s just like any old regular town in Dalmatia. I got a hotdog, so I ve technically been to Bosnia (although I think that part is actually part of Herzegovina)

I'm so surprised that my country featured here. Although, I will say that Croatia has been officially connected as a whole since last year. We have Peljesac bridge that connects the two parts together. Just a small info
