Why did the Protestant Reformation Happen? - -I love this video. I will use it to help teach the Jewish presence in a small group of New World islands (Danish Virgin Islands) starting in the 1600s. There we can trace the last two centuries of the Age of Sail and after the piracy days of the 1600s in the Caribbean. The reforms of the Christians played a role in the operation of the five -Sandfloor Synagogues- in the New World, each of them having a strategic importance in the Dutch and Danish control of commerce and shipping, Would the Jewish elders incorporate Protestant reforms in their liturgy, such as an organ and a choir? Some did and some did not. We did - Thanks again. Robert in St. Thomas.\r\n

Regardless, the sickest part of the history of Christianity is the persecution and killing of one another over differences of beliefs while both Catholics and Protestants taught that God is Love and that we should love one another and pray for those who mistreat us - seriously, what were they all thinking! so many lives lost.

The Protestant Reformation needed to happen because of the unbiblical beliefs that the RCC taught and still teaches. Sadly, the reformers didn-t go far enough and we thus need a new Reformation today.

When the Protestant revolutionaries invented their new religions, they found that none of them agreed with each other. Now, they have thousands of contradicting sects.

Map of Ireland is wrong. It wasn't fully under English rule at this date, most of it was under control of Anglo Irish and Gaelic Irish Lords. Good video though!

Fortunately the Apostles were not Protestant. Because whitout any scriptures, they would have had nothing to preach and Christianity would not have been born.

I don't recognize Luther as a Reformationist. I recognize the martyr Jan Hus who preceded Luther during the martyr Joan of Arc's lifetime.

Catherine of ARGON?
I mean, yes, it's noble and all but I'm pretty sure it's Catherine of ARAGON, a region of Spain.
