Ryu - The Darkening - HIT ME
Ryu means that I am HIT ME, Hit Me All The Way, In Any Way, Anyway. HIT ME Always Works, I Do Not Hit. It Hits All By Itself, Everyone And Everything Has This HIT ME Side In It. The Red Bands, HIT ME, The Hits Are A Fact Of Life And The Key To Enlightenment, I Die For It. A Sacrifice For Love, The Way Out Of The Abyss.
So we are what hits us and what we suffer from.
The Darkening symbolizes the opposite of The Enlightenment. Yet these two opposites are one. Because we are all at the same time darkened and enlightened. But The Darkening's dominant form is the nature of suffering while The Enlightenment's dominant form is the nature of blissfulness. And the all-encompassing being A holds the unity of all there is, The Darkening and The Enlightenment.

HIT ME
This quote from the joker actor Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight made an enormous impact on me and inspired me to create a philosophy. It helped me making peace with all of that. Through practices of any kind. I have learned to love my trauma, my illness, my feelings, my thoughts, my conflicts, my life and ultimately my suffering. The hits are a fact of life and the key to enlightenment. A hit affects you, internally or superficially. Everyone and everything has this HIT ME side in it. And if you set your life expectation to HIT ME, it always works and you will never be disappointed that way. Because something always hits you. Even if you don't want to be hit by something, it still hits you. Hence, it still works as a life expectation. It even works when positive things hit you. Like soft raindrops or a soap bubble. Same as joy or bliss. Hit me all the way, in any way, anyway. If you devote yourself to such an idea, you decipher the path to enlightenment. This is a good reason to follow the path of loving our suffering as it brings great benefit to one. From ourselves, when we don't want to be hit and don't want to take in the hits, to the desire to be hit and take in the hits. It always works, regardless of the form. As Bruce Lee said: Be unconsciously conscious or consciously unconscious. Once one has developed a certain level of this practice, one masters the suffering and becomes truly enlightened. I am quoting Bruce Lee again: I do not hit. It hits all by itself.
The Way Out Of The Abyss
Only when we can accept what we want to let go, can we let go of what we want to accept.
A peaceful mind is the cure for restlessness.
And love is the cure for a broken spirit.
Pain is strength in disguise waiting, to be revealed. And It takes a lot of strength to cry. Because when we cry, we open up to the pain that we experience.
When all the waves come crashing down on you, there is faith to get you through. Express your belief into reality and believe in it. This is how you get through the waves.
We make mistakes, because we are not perfect. And for that fact I am grateful, that I make mistakes.
Remember the solution to any problem is the problem itself. It came into existence and it will not leave you.
A sacrifice for love, is a sacrifice worth dying for. We don't have to undo what we do wrong in this life. We die for it and thus, sacrifice ourselves for love.
So live for the truth and die for the lie. Die for your negative qualities and live for your positive qualities. That is the sacrifice and the salvation of the human spirit.
The guilt we feel is that, which enslaves us. Only when we also remember our innocence, are we free at the same time.
There is nothing in this universe, that can harm a mad person. Except making the mad person even more insane, through harm.
When you are ready to take in all the hits, in order to gain strength from it and at the same time you are ready to pass on all the love out of compassion to others; one will be as strong as a demon and as compassionate as an angel. A demonic angel.
A victory is achieved, by resolving the battles within.
If you give up fighting yourself and instead start absorbing yourself, you will be invincible.
When you change the powers that hold you back, into the powers that hold your back, you will be unstoppable.
You are an example of what a human being is capable of. Take in the hits and use them, as fuel for Ascension.
The greatest bliss is found when you make peace with your suffering. Because suffering is the root of blissfulness. If you love your suffering, blissfulness arises. And blissfulness is the key, to heaven on earth.
If you can defeat yourself, by loving yourself, your fears, your pain and ultimately your suffering; then it will transform you and you will be reborn.
In order to overcome suffering, one has to become suffering oneself.
Because when you are one with all, you are bound by nothing and therefore free from everything.
And through becoming one with suffering you master it.
The journey to enlightenment is a process, that involves a lot of suffering. But in the end every moment of suffering will be worth it. Because choosing to suffer consciously is the springboard, to enlightenment.
That's how you remember your origin and you begin to embody it.
Because where there is suffering, the love spark resides and the fire is kindled where God, or Consciousness enters and spreads out.
Become Ryu, the dragon. Become suffering. Be in a relationship with HIT ME from sadness to madness and become HIT ME and the hits yourself. And Ryu, the dragon spreads its wings and rises. Thus he finds the way out of the abyss.

THIS. ALL OF THIS. there are so many things that for a while i didnt even realize were because of my depression/anxiety and you just think that everyone else has a better handle on life than you. like how are all of us not a trainwreck? dont they think like me? feel like i do? but they dont. not everyone. and its hard to get your point across when explaining something you believed to be understood. then it just gets darker and darker as the days go by. suddenly i dont want to get put of bed then suddenly i feel the need to blare music and clean. some days i dont want to care for myself cause whats the point? others i have to shower shave pick an outfit full make up hair done etc
its hard to explain it to someone you love without them thinking its their fault.
dont i make you happy?
why arent you talkative today?
why are you spacing out?
what do you have to be sad about?
and talking about it doesnt help me. it lets the darkness in. that lets it consume me then im just stuck in the hole til i can pull myself out but that could take 1 day or even a year. it just happens.
i do all i can to keep it at bay but i can only hold it back for so long. sometimes it seeps through the cracks and im hit with a wave of sadness. usually for no reason in particular. the smallest thing could make me cry during that period--a song (doesnt even have to be sad, my cat being cute, my daughter hugs me, a happy ending of a movie. i get that pain in my throat and my eyes swell. and i swallow it and make it stop so i dont have a friggin episode and let ot all in. gotta keep it together. smile. its okay. pretending isnt as hard as embracing the darkness.

Sometimes I'd rather sleep than wake up and deal with reality.
Sometimes I don't want to go see people and I wake up with an anxious feeling or dread.
I also feel like St. John's Wart feels like I'm cheating my lower feelings. (even thought it's helped me lift my spirits, but I'm afraid of not showing and being my true self)
I feel like sometimes I have to try to plaster on a smile when it used to come naturally.
One time my body and especially limbs felt super heavy, like they became weights.
I feel like I'm off somehow, but I don't know why. It's like I need to snap out of this fog, but I don't know how. It almost makes me want to cry, thinking about it.
With these types of experiences, could these be signs of depression? Could I also possibly have anxiety?
Or could it be trauma? ADD or ADHD Female Symptoms. All of the above?
Thanks.

It felt lonely. I was so done. Nobody's words mattered anymore. Nobody mattered anymore. I was so done with life and every single day I would convince myself to suicide more and more. I wanted someone to understand and I wanted someone to see. I wanted someone to care but nobody even noticed that I was sad and my grades were suffering and I wouldn't do my homework, not because I didn't want to do it but because it felt like I'm so worthless no studying would get me anywhere. And because I didn't study my parents would always yell at me and my teachers would too and that just made me even sadder and sadder each day to the point where even i would get mad at myself for the smallest mistakes. I just wanted to feel genuinely happy again but I couldn't and I was so lost. And even if I did open up to anyone they would probably laugh cause I'm a kid

I wish they'd understand that it's not laziness or procrastination. I get a lot of ok I know you're feeling bad but we really need to get things done, I feel like I'm doing everything with no help I need you to get up put your depression to one side and help. If only it was this easy! I'd love to put it to one side and get stuff done but everything is so heavy, all my muscles, all my problems, all my emotions. It feels like I've got a huge weight that I'm carrying around and it's exhausting. A simple decision causes me to get buried alive in this huge weight. Like I'm down a hole digging through heavy rubble, just trying to breathe is hard. So when someone comes along and says put it aside, get up and get on, it's like they're walking on the edge unintentionally knocking more rubble onto me.

I'm 13 and I've been having depression since I was 11. Just recently did my family notice because my sister had anxiety and was going to a therapist and it made her feel better so I told her how I feel. She took me to her therapist and she diagnosed me. I'm now visiting her quite frequently but I don't feel like it's helping me. It's not her, it's just that I don't want to do the things she tells me to do. I don't want to go back but I don't want to tell anyone because they think this will cure me and if I tell them no, they're just gonna think that I don't want to get out and like being depressed. I don't want people poking at it and giving me solutions. I'd rather they just ignore I have it and talk with me about nice things.

Depression needs treatment.
Medication and therapy.
But it would never work if
we still meet people around us who don't realize how serious depression is. We need help and understanding of others.
I have no idea on situation worldwide but in Poland people see you depressed every day and never ever ask you questions like-
Can I help you?
How you feel like today?
And then people are terrified by the suicides rates.
People dismiss you and avoid you as much as possible because of this awful condition.
Never any helping hand around.

Personally speaking, Id just like people to understand that I need the same love, kindness and compassion that Ive given them over the last 50 years. but thats just too much to ask of people, nowadays. Would they be so dismissive of someone who had their leg in a cast and who was hobbling around on crutches, or someone in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank strapped to the back of it? Just because we show no outward signs of being hurt or unwell doesnt mean we dont need the same kind of assistance and understanding.

I'm pretty sure my girlfriend has depression and I was always confused about why she seemed so different out of nowhere and why she always said she ok but seemed so sad. I would always try to help her and try to fix her problem but I didn't realize how much I was probably hurting her in the process. Thank you so much for this video it really helps me understand more about why she's feeling this way and what I can do and tell her to let her know I'm always here for her if she needs me.

Depression is a combination of symptoms, like the cold is. There isnt just one cold, and there isnt just one depression. Its not the cause of the symptoms, but the acknowledgment of them. Meaning depression doesnt MAKE you feel a certain way, its what you call it when you do feel a certain way. Being human didnt make you grow a brain, but having a brain is one of the things that makes you human.

I'm quite grateful that my brother has been there for me. He does #9 quite well. Just listens, doesn't try to fix me. He may have when I first opened up about it, but he respects that I'm trying and knows throwing out hairbrained ideas don't help at all. Even when I tell him I don't want to be alive anymore, he just listens and doesn't try to change me. Which is the best thing I could ask for.

I wish it was easy for people to understand. Half the battle wouldve been won. It's disheartening to see your loved ones making an effort and in a wrong direction. U do feel you are being a pile on and you end up saying go away when all you want is a warm tight hug. I also feel caged to my insecurities. In a lonely space and that makes me go breathless.

The other day my dad called me useless and although he apologised afterwards and I know he probably didn't mean it, it really struck home and hurt so much. I don't think they're at all aware of my mental health situation right now and I really wish I was brave enough to just tell them that I need help, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

At least since my depression is due to a thyroid condition people are somewhat more likely to believe it. Its still an invisible illness tho. Idk tho, among my friends/circle, one of em has had heartbreak a lot so hes viewed as the depressed one of the group. meanwhile im actually clinically depressed. guess who smiles more? Me

Does anyone find they get headaches before anxiety/depression well before and during. I find I go from angry to crying to outright want to throttle someone. I even have a good few days or even maybe a week or more where I feel normal like a fog has lifted and then bam like a sledgehammer its back. Or is this just me?

That if I were to share this video on my social media it's not a personal dig at my friends. Bottom line for me is I just want some empathy and gentle kindness, not judgement, shame, guilt and being told I need to think about how I affect others - I don't choose depression! I am trying so hard and you don't think I am

My brother seriously needs to see this. Not long ago he was telling me that I have no reason to and I should be happy. And I need to come up with a plan to be better (he was basically telling to come up with a plan to look better. That I need a skin care routine, and to grow my hair out) it really sucked

Depression for me is like being on a small boat in the middle of a never ending stormy ocean, sometimes the storms subside long enough that you can see land. Only to then be pummeled again by another storm, dragging you back into the vast ocean with no idea of which way to go again. IT'S EXHAUSTING.

The annoying thing is, I feel like I need to help out my friends even if they aren't sad. I feel like I'm being annoying with the amount of times that I ask are you okay? just because they may not be smiling. When in reality, all I want is for them to ask me if im okay.

I have depression but people dont understand. I get bullied all the time and when I say something people, they will try to find a way to make it mean. No one understands! Whoever relates, I feel you: c we can be friends: )
